After comparing shipping costs, PLH is still cheaper than the annex (for me), but for those closer to Cali, those are tough prices to beat!!!

I second these guys, they're out of OH, really quick shipping. I think the dudes name is Joe and he is solid as hell. Much better quality than the HTG stuff imo.
I have a couple of HTG hoods that are collecting dust cuz they are not able to be modified to accommodate a bigger bulb. Ie on some of the hoods you cannot upgrade from say a 600w to a 1000w cuz the cord is hardwired into the ballast from the hood and you cannot disconnect it. I had to buy all new cord sets when I upgraded my 6's to 1k's.

PLH seems to have the best all around internet pricing Ive seen.
ebay has ridiculous deals also.
like a blulab trimeter nearly new go for under $50
a brand new replacement probe for it... $20

That could have easily been fixed w/o new cordsets. And there are many different ballast/hood combo cordsets so that is always an issue
I used HTG hoods and ballast kits for some time. I lost the hoods but still have the ballasts which are on their way to their 4th grow location
