Its a shame we have to argue over nonsense. Its just weed.

That was a nice plant and congrats on your harvest.

I haven't been smoking much anymore, and when I get a bag I usually just buy some regs from a local guy. I have been really impressed with how much mexican weed has improved since a decade ago. Its been some really pleasant weed and looks decent.

I remember a decade ago and prior it almost all looked so terrible. I read a report that said kilo bricks siezed at the border more than doubled in THC% content in the last decade.

I don't know what genes they are, but I can tell in the past decade they spent a lot of time buying seedbank genes and a lot of the genetics in mexico now are much different than what people who smoked it in the 90s remember. Lots of it was low grade sativas that never got real resinous and took forever to finish. It looks like a lot of it has replaced with modern dutch hybrid strains.

thanks everyone. really appreciate the kind words, ill be posting my first soil grow sometime soon, you can check out my albums if you want a teaser, since it just started flowering.

i think more people are taking growing more serious since they knew how that "shwag we all feared" was being grown. so there has definitely been a much better product on the streets these days to be offered.

im not too into genetics yet, as i rarely have that much money to be blowing on high price seed but i know for sure 10 years ago they werent growing it like they are now, i think that has a huge factor in the way its changed so much but i could be wrong.

i know the seeds this plant came from, where in fact from horrible shwag as the friends i got it from really could careless what they smoke as long as it gets them high and it was that dirt brown crap that everyone knows shwag to be. so doing this led me to believe any plant grown and pushed enough can produce quality bud regardless with some tender loving care.

thanks mate, i love the octopus project as well, they are the main reason i have been making music myself for over ten years now. ive actually played one show with them at the white rabbit and they actually loved our music which means very much to me considering how much i look up to them. too bad for me shortly after my band started acting like assholes so i just quit because i cant make music with people who dont have the right intentions.

you gotta hear their new album Hexadecagon, if you are lucky enough to have them come close to your town be sure to go see Hexadecagon live its a truly breath taking experience ill never foget the visuals and the all around atmosphere they have been able to create.

plus Yvonne is so damn cute and she rocks that theremin like literally no other person ive seen on this planet.

Well unfortunately some bud only produces trash grass. The genetics are just very poor.

But some brickweed as you have certainly does produce fine plants.

I haven't been growing in a really long time now, but I used to buy $100 a pack seeds and honestly in many cases I found better genes in brickweed bagseed.

Some strains I bought were fantastic, but honestly I also bought seeds that grew into
shitty low grade stuff, hermies, had entire packs that didn't pop, and weed I just wasn't crazy about. Just like when I was growing bagseed except then I wasn't paying for seeds.

Seeds are always a crapshoot unfortunately.
