I spoke too soon in the rep I gave you, sorry to hear that man. My cat is like my best friend. I always liked dogs more until I adopted my cat. She comes when I call her, eats with me, sleeps with me, brings back little mice to show off to me. My cat even lays on my belly when she knows I'm sick or sad.. I can't imagine how I would feel if she had to suffer.

Even though it came to a rough ending, I think you did all you can, and now her kitty spirit is free to hunt and prowl all day and night, so its for the best.

Keep him in your mind and heart, and when the time is right I hope you find another being who you can provide a great life for, as you obviously did for Nero.

Time heals all wounds, but the loss of a pet who only ever showered you with love and affection is a difficult thing to wrap your head around because they've never done anything but love you without judgment. Try not to remember how he was on his last day, but instead with the joie de vivre he lived his previous 11 years and the joy he brought you in that time... car rides, funny looks from passengers in other cars and all.

sorry for your loss, my own cat Monkey (odd name I know).. just had his leg removed.. he had been hit by a car at the same age 11 (he still thinks he's 2 odd) anyway they x rayed him and found a huge tumor in the smashed up leg... just hoping its all removed now.. in all honesty I have only loved my mum, the missus and the animals I've had... I prefer animals to humans its sad but true... so sorry for your loss, I'm sure the cats in a better place now as one day we all will be! no doubt you gave him a good life so remember that and all you shared... you did all you can!.

Hey man so sorry to hear that... I'm myself a cat lover too and I've also lost some brothers on the past as well... certainly a hard step to go throught! But u gotta remember all the joy and laughs he gave to you instead of just thinking that he is no longer by your side.

Time heals wounds, and hopefully, in the future you will be prepared to get another feline to fill that hole in your life. Every man needs a cat in their life!

Let's see... thin blood. Feed him some boiled calf liver. The iron will help the blood and he may even put on weight. Might make his appetite a lil better.

He passed away in our garden and has now gotten a lovely spot
