Best Nutrients for Organic Soil Growing

I grew a batch of White Rhino from GreenHouse seeds recently, and was extremely dissaspointed with the final result. it didn't yield nearly as well as advertised although it was a decent yield, it wasn't what i was hoping for. Anyway, i digress....I took the buds to a dispensary to vend and the guy said he could tell i used botanicare cal mag due to the smell. He told me not to use their cal mag bc it takes over the smell and taste of the bud no matter what strain. What cal-mag additive should I use to have residue free buds. Also, what nutrient lines should I use? Kyle Kushman suggests using Canna...

If choosing bottles - I would go with BioBizz line. That's what I am on atm.
I hear good things about organic canna line though. Yet still I would go BioBizz.

Botanicare makes the most popular cal mag, so his 'guess' was not too impressive at all. I don't think his claim can be backed up by anything either

you need to visit the organic forum here. if you use powdered dolomite lime in your soil then you shouldnt need extra calmag - although molasses has quite a bit in it.

if you are looking for bottles then yeah biobizz is cheep and works.

from BioBizz you would want to use Alg-A-Mic for Cal-Mg. it's mostly frozen refined seaweed, but it does the job.

come on over to the organic soil forum

living mulches, dead mulches, from a bottle, and water only are just some of the highlights.

Listen to what these guys are telling you, check out the organic soil forum. Read up on soil mixes, mulches, etc... Bottled nutes are a waste of money in my opinion, you can build a soil really easily, where all you have to do is water, maybe the occasional tea, and you're set through the cycle.

I would start to get lost in the world of aerated compost teas (ACT) as well. Again, head over to the organic forum and start reading. I rarely post on here but I'm always creeping around numerous threads always reading and learning.

pureblend pro + promix can produce amazing results. it takes time (years) to master a strain, and growing method...
my friend's promix/pureblendpro nycd is out-of-this world... just superb!
there are many other calmag supplements on the market (many organic ones too).
did you even need any calmag?
try taking it to a different dispensary....

First bit of advice I'd give anybody getting into organic soil growing is don't bother with blood meal, there's better options.

Second bit is don't use bags of potting soil or organic soil, go soilless.. Promix or something like it.

Your question however has already been answered... Some dolomite mixed into the medium with the rest of your amendments, and some blackstrap molasses and you won't need the CalMag. And I bet the dispensiary will probably love the smell/taste...

lol i set out a lil vegging plant to fuck with before writing this post and when i turn around back to it its just stems. fuckin sneaky cat!!! lol

OH YEAH MY KEY POINT: Might want to try different genetics.
