16KW OG/HEADBAND

Hi there .
I've had a few random journals on this and other forums but never really seem to keep up with the photoalbum towards the end. I'll do my best to avoid that this time.
We're jumping into a 16KW sealed grow, at 18 days into flower. For those of you into design:
16 1000W HPS in a circuit, air cooled.
5 (yes FIVE) portable 12,000 BTU A/C units. (Don't bust my balls i know they suck).
Hydrogen Pro Co2 Generator water cooled via rez/chiller method.
4 4'x8' flood tables with OG/Headband in rockwool/coco mats with 100gal rezi per 4x8 in a flood/drain set up.
2 4'x8' flood tables with OG/Headband in 7gal buckets of soil.
As stated in the title, defoliation is a HUGE focus here. They've already been picked clean about 3 times in their life.

Thanks for the love pops. I start defoliation once they get about 8-10 nodes, and continue every 10-14 days as i see fit. I'm loving the technique so far, and so are the ladies.

thanks turbo We've got 16 1000w lights up, and i usually aim for 2 per light. 30 Would be a cool number, 20 is like my bottom line.

Those AC are gonna pull all your CO2 out.

I don't know about ALL, but yes i'm aware it will be counterproductive. It is what it is at this point, i'll let you know how much propane i'm burning . Once i finish this round up i'll make a few much needed upgrades (including changing out those portable AC's for for a y-split.)

"i have no idea" pic- ha! i get a couple every time, must be an og thing, they look funny but always turn out nice buds, easy to trim hahaha.
i also used to run abunch of those ac's with co2, my green air cd36(?) was able to to keep it at 1200 ppms and the propane tank (tall 4') would last over a month, i'm also the guy who turns off tank for dark and relight it at lights on.

Wutup pops thanks for stopping in. And yea, my first OG run so it kinda had me wierded out heh, good to know other OG'ers are getting the same thing.

Those A/C's do suck, but it's all i could work with this round. Glad to hear you still used only a reasonable amount of propane even with the portable AC/s. and my ppm controller is light sensitive so propane wont burn at night anyways .

Rain sucks by the way! first precipitation of the summer last night. 3 or 4 inches... the girls outside arn't liking the wet cold. Thank god they had a few weeks of acclimation before the hard part came

You already know... Reminds me of my boy out in mendo. I'll be sittin there rollin up some shit i grew/bought or whatever:

6" Grodan RW cubes on the larger cocomat yea. Fed once a day for 20 minutes.

They get hit randomly with other things as well. I got the strainage from a buddy whos been working with this exact pheno for 5+ years and therefore i just follow his feeding regimen for the hydros.

Hey guys, girls in rockwool are doing great. Not sure if you guys noticed but half the room is actually in soil, 5 gallon buckets, scrogged.

They're starting to show deficiency. Nothing wild, just some lime greening.

I've always been a K.I.S.S kind of guy, so up till now i've been feeding 1/3/2/1 floralicious bloom/flora bloom/micro/grow at about 1200 ppm.

I want to take them up to about 1500 or 1600 ppm, as it is week 5 of flower now, and they're starting to show need of more food. I've never really used any additives though. In the past, at this stage, i'd just up the 1/3/2/1 solution to 1600, but i can't help but feel like it would be better to keep my 1/3/2/1 at 1200 and add some cooler stuff (dark energy, gravity, etc).

any suggestions? Looking to add to my 1200ppm mix to take it up to about 1600ppm with late flower additives. Big bud? open sesame? cha ching? i'm not too experienced with commercial nutrient lines so any suggestions are appreciated.
