600w Vertical SOG. Vertigrow!

Hi.

I thought I'd share my grow with you.

Lights:
600w eye hortilux hps on a hydro farm dimmable phantom ballast. I really like this ballast. I hear the quantums are nice, too.

method:
SOG. Maybe 1week veg time while some clones were waiting to root. Plants packed in to capacity in 5.5" square pots filled with hydroton. Running ebb&flow.

Nutrients:
FoxFarm. And some pk powder. in weeks 4 and 5. started at about 0.8 EC for fresh clones, worked my way up to 1.4 in week5.

Trays:
Bought some vertigrow trays online. Theyre like hollow circular channels. outside width is like 42"/ 3.5feet. channels are ~6" wide, so the 5.5" pots fit in there nicely.
I think they make lids for these trays, too, but I havent bought them yet. But theyre pretty unique. I got em at vertigrowsystems.com I run ebb&flow to 2 tiers of trays off one CAP 400gph pump. I didn't have enough clones this round, but next time I want to do 3 tiers.


What else...
Strain is Odyssey. Some dispensary clone, I guess. If anyone knows about the genetics dont be afraid to speak up!

Exhausting the tent with a 6" cap valuline fan.
Thats a lot more power than I need for a 4x4x6 box, but I run it on about 50% to keep the rpms nice and low.
silence is golden.
