Seacrop what are your thoughts?

WE got the sea crop last night, and made a 1% solution with out 16ppm tap water. WE let this sit overnight. PH when we made the mix was 6.6. Overnight it raised to 7.4. Does anyone have experience with this? SHould i be using the ph of the initial formula or after it stands still as a reference point? PPM remained the same so the ph change was NOT due to evaporation.

Couldn't tell ya about the pH rise. Been awhile but think a higher pH is better for foliar applications anyway.

As for the brix mix there's no conflict and just add to that mix and think it will improve any formula you use. Sea Crop alone will enhance brix levels for a variety of reasons. If you're using in your res a 1% weekly foliar application might be a bit high. It's on the aggressive side. Still hard to overdo Sea Crop though.

Another thing Sea Crop is proven to do is enhance production of plant carotenoids. These are pigments that process energy from different parts of the light spectrum that chlorophyll does. They are partly responsible for protecting cholorphyll from degradation and also have the ability to transfer energy captured to chlorophyll. It helps obtain the maximum available energy from light either indoors or out. I'd think it's more valuable for indoor growing mainly due to this but excels outdoors in organic agriculture also.

Sea Crop should be used at a concentration of 1% strength.
1% strength = 1 oz per gallon = 2 tablespoons per gallon = 30 ml per gallon

so, 1 gallon of Sea crop will treat 100 gallons of water at 1% strength. It should be Foliar fed, as well as root drenches. 3-4 times per crop is all that is needed.

I bought mine in San Leandro at D&S gardens, am told it's a miracle for ganja... So far so good, I am seeing increased resin production, stems are much stronger, thicker leaves... all around one of the healthiest crops I have ever seen.

Be warned, the EC from this product at 30ml per gallon is usually off the charts due to the concentration of ionized minerals. Plants love it.

I heard their whole nute line was pretty off the hook. I hope more hydro shops will start stocking their stuff eventually. Ive heard these guys formulated their nutes specifically for our mj plants. I think alot of people will be impressed when they start seeing it and using it, high quality clean stuff for your budz. Those that can find it now are lucky people.

im using green stone product nectar A+B plus seacrop only. Simple and so far an excellent products. I got mine at D&S Garden Supply in San leandro too.

Sea Crop is sea water with 95% of the salt [NaCl] removed. It's a fantastic product. It has every naturally occuring element in the Periodic Table. It always amazes me how I apply it to healthy green plants, and they have a growth spurt and their color improves. It proves to me that this notion that all plants need are 16 or 22 [or you pick a number] elements is bullshit. Plants do best with all the elements. I've never done hydro, but I'd bet it would work well in hydro. Using it 3 or 4 times on a crop isn't that expensive. I've seen good results at the 1% [2.5 Tbl/gal] strength. Only made EWC AACT with it a couple of times, but got great results and I'm sure the herd was smacking its lips. I highly recommend Sea Crop. Good luck. -granger

love the stuff. been using it for years. ( horticulture applications).

as an aside; for applications outside horticulture me and a few other ic mmbers injest a tbs./day and do the same for our pets. chelated trace minerals. inexpensive.

understand that all organic supplements need to be chelated before they are available to organic life forms. it takes 10 years or more for trace minerals like azomite supplements to be available from typical microherd processing. the 1:(a-z) organic elements in the sea are in 2:perfect nature's balance, 3):already chelated.

^ this is the essence of organic horticulture; all three.

Do you use as recommended? Root drench and foliar with it? 1 or 2% dilution? Sorry so many questions. It's a new product to me. I like that they recommend co application with compost tea.

I have actually heard of several ICMag members ingesting this stuff...

you should go by mfg. recommendations. ppl have f****d their grows by exceeding recommendations. seacrop is approved for livestock. gmo is approved for ppl.

they just released a 'gmo corn fed to rats' study and the rats were sterile in two months. :)

seacrop's got archaea. me love archaea.

So just three foliar feedings and one root drench? Sounds pretty easy to use. Kinda hard to mess that up. I wasn't going to exceed recommendations, more just wondering how you use it on your plants. Thanx.

I just do the root drench. I don't do much foliar with my rols organic soil. lots of ways to apply I guess.
