Manure tea and miracle gro

I've started to make some manure tea and was wondering how long it should sit for before its used? And should I replace it with miracle gro on a feeding schedule, mix half a dose with it or both on different schedules? Please share your thoughts.

Personally, I'd use the manure tea and dump the Miracle Grow! I would rather stick to the organic but thats just my two cents. Mix the two and I'll bet you burn your girls.

Just as I was thinking, I might just switch them out for each feeding cycle. Mainly because there is no way in measuring how good the tea is.

Hey yourbuddy. I would definately go with the miracle grow. Read my thread, "its time again" down the page. Your plants will experience rapid growth during july-august and no amount of organics will feed it. Miracle grow is available to the plant within 2 hrs of application. Tea will be available next week. During pre flower, you need to hit them hard with MG - overdose frequently.

Many people wont tell you this, but yield with organics is limited to and controlled by the soil and its balance. That fine if your growing tomatoes, but a big cannabis plant can suck up some nute and if a limited amount is available from minute to minute, growth will be limited as well.

Never, not in a thousand years can you grow a cannabis plant with organic nutes and recieve the growth that comes from chemicals. That is a law of agriculture that has been chisled in stone since the introduction of chemcals 60 years ago. Its introduction quadrupled world food production and it has the same effect on cannabis.

If it sounds like bs Anders89, its because you have no experience or knowledge of
agricultural practices or norms. For some reason, cannabis farmers think they are somehow different than the growers of other crops. They arent. There isnt a farmer in america anywhere that would disagree with my statement.

I grew up on a farm and have been actively farming for 40 years. Anybody that believes that organics can ever, under any circumstances result in the growth and yeild of chemcal fertilzers should do some reading.

Although many organic practices are good husbandry, I would agree with your assertion.

D.S. I understand what your saying and I thank you for the information. I am definitely going to be using miracle gro more often than the tea or completely. I'd like to know where taste and quality fit in with each and facts to prove.

Thanks Yourbuddy

Hi long time since i posted here.

DS toker i still would like to see this. In norway we mostly use composted soils and liquid manure. And phosporus. We have climates like alaska and we still have pretty good yielding farms. Dont the chemicals destroy the earth over time?

Recommending miracle grow..come on...There are way better nutes then miracle grow.Guanos are fast acting and long lasting.Organic nutes work with the soil.Chemical nutes kill the soil and provide instant availability often resulting in burning. Not to mention the environmental impact.

I am using an organic mix that doesnt require extra nutes for the whole grow.I couldnt be happier with the results. So is everyone else no complaints.

Using nettle tea for N, and guano tea for the PK is my way of assuring my plants needs after consuming the nutrients in the whole i dug for them.
Saying that teas are actively absorbed by the plants after a week is a lie. The process of asimilation starts after half a day, so be carefull with the dosage. For young plants, i dilute 1 part of concentrated tea in 10 parts water. For semi-mature plants 1:5, and for mature plants 1:2. The smoke is incredibly smooth using organic stuff, guys that grow organic style know this and no chemical grown plant beats it.

D.S Toker MD Have you been to the Emerald cup? NO you havent its full organic outdoor.... People bring down 10lbs plants outside without using a single fertilizer... Its 100% organics.. I would LOVE to do a competition with you. I fully believe organic plants will outperform your chemical plants. The tastes, smell, everything is better!

Organics out doing chems or vice versa depends on the grower i believe.

And when it comes down to it it's gonna be personal preference/opinion anyhoo.

One day i maybe understand why peeps use chem and organic together.Isn't organic growing about creating soil life?Doesn't chem ferts kill off any soil life?:dunno:

chems yield more, organics gives best quality ...the difference in yield isnt that big if the grower is skilled...some organics are fast acting too......

What about organic plant hormones from extracts like nettle. And mycoryzea etc

Is it impossible to get the same yield from using natural plant superfoods?
