So many strains!

I can't remember every strain name so instead I just categorize by characteristics now.

Is that a sin? Anyone else do this?

you can do that. I do like to keep track of all my really good genetics by breeder and name.

If you have too much, donate them to the server fund or to someone in need! To me seeds are meant to be grown. There is nothing worse than the collector that has 1,000 strains and will grow few if any of them.

Sorry I didn't mean that I have too many to keep track of, I just mean that I stopped caring. Most of the seed I have is just random crosses of my keepers or bag seed.

so you might aswell put all of your bud in the same jar without naming or numbering it. Shit, you might even stop trimming that shit, just blend the whole bush up and dry it in the oven. Why the fuck care, throw it right into fire right ahead and just stand nearby. ok that last one may be not too economical of a thing to do, but you get the point.

It's all about culture. Either you keep impressing your mind and imagine stuff the way community stereotyped it, or just sit at home and grow some green funny looking herb that gets you high in many different ways. If you don't respect your own time with maryJane, atleast respect those patient's care for your product and tell them what that is that they are consuming in hopes to have it remained in their memory and not just be another unknown high from unknown green grass.

I like to have the best possible info about the seeds that i got on the fridge.
Just a question? How do you categorize seeds based on phenotype?
Better said how do you check a phenotype only by observing the seeds?
Or do you mean that you don´t care about names just the parental lines...?

Hehe, I do put them all in the same jar, and I don't even trim very close dudesome. I just pick off the sugar leaves as needed. Cures better and holds in the terpenoids anyway!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't every modern strain just a hybrid of a hybrid of a handful of old landrace strains? Half the time the strain name doesn't even represent the characteristics of the strain. How many decades does it take to breed a strain? Not to complain or discredit the work of any breeders, but I've noticed most modern strains have a lot of variation. When I buy a cherry 100 tomato plant, I know I'm going to get at least 100 cherry tomatoes thanks to a decades long breeding program.

I am a sinner aren't I? Maybe what I need is that holy grail then, don't I? Something to capture my soul for life. Where is it? Who's got it? Is this blasphemous? Oh well.

congrats on not conforming to the norm and if it all started with good genetics and a variety of genetics then i'd assume it only gets better year after year.

i still would separate the varying plants when putting them in jars but that's me.

peace from an observer not as brave as yourself.
