stem rot

i have a question how to get rid of stem rot? i supercropped my bubblegum on my balcony a few days ago now the past few days its been raining so i noticed on the area where i supercropped its rotting a bit turnin black and not healing from the supercroppping anynoe know how to get rid of it or is it just better to snip that hole shoot away??

use grafting wax to seal wounds on the plant if it becomes an issue, works great.
you can get it at most nursery/garden centers

I use quarter strength bleach on a q-tip. Rub it all over the mold. repeat.

bleach ok also sounds good too might have to do that because its already present so i got to get rid of it but next time i top or supercrop ill use the wax right after but will deffenetly use a lil bleach to get rid of it i read that on a different site also

yeah, should mention the grafting wax wont kill existing rot, HOWEVER as a future method of preventing outbreaks it will be stellar, if just the tips are rotting you can cut them off and reseal the new tips.

Grafting wax is used in the grafting process, Grafting being the method of cutting a tree branch from 1 tree and attaching it to another.
So its designed to keep the open wound closed and safe from the elements

yea i understand grafting and thats wut i did i cut away the few top branches on it so now it seems to be good again ill post some pics of the bubblegum on my balcony today no more rain and not for the next week so no more mold problems then but thx for the info
