soooo.... went to my outdoorspot yesterday and found my vanillunas recovering from there snailatack, found a very plane, ecological tip some time ago that will keep snails away from your plants, you just need some copper wire and warp it around the stem...because the mucus of the snail oxidierd with the copper they will not atack the plants ....
1.st the vanillunas
2.nd one of them the most indica i belive
3.d some of the double cheese
4.th the vani and the pannama c99 fems
5.th the medical buddha

hey eskimo, snails and slugs were a huge pain in the ass when i was growin outside! They were literally everywhere! I bought these slug bait pellets (which were organic i think) and sprinkled them around the plants. That seemed to help a bit, at least kept their numbers down a little. I also read the copper thing, my plan was to use copper foil (they sell it at stained glass supply stores, real thin copper with a sticky back) and make some kind of loose collar out of a plastic water bottle or something, and wrap it with the copper foil. Then stick that in the ground around the base of the stem, kind of like a copper wall that the slugs would have to climb... does that make sense? Maybe there just wasnt enough copper wire and they scooted by it too fast? I know they also dont like diatomaceous earth if you have any of that layin around, its like little razor blades to their bellys. Not sure if it would work when it got wet, but its an option. Also it looks like at least one of your plants is touching other native plants, so even if you did the copper they could probably scoot on over to your weed plants. Good luck, damn slugs were my bane for a little while!
