Is this ready for harvest?

I am trimming off the fan leaves today of 3 plants. They've flowered for 8 weeks after vegging for 4 under 135W CFL. Do the trichromes need a few more days to turn auburn, or do they look fine? Its my first grow. :)

It looks almost ripe.
I can see some white pistils,so one more week will be fine, but next time don't trim off fan leaves IMO,never helped to ripe the buds.I think instead, trimming fan leaves will reduce ripening and if too strong it can pause the ripening.

1, do NOT take off fan leaves. they are your plants solar panels. Without them its just sitting there doing nothing.

2, Nobody can look at that pic and say for sure if it is ready. You need to get an up close look at the color of the trichome heads...you can use plenty of things for this. However, your eye alone wont cut it.

Flush! if you didnt already.

Stoney.. I think if you expand the size of the picture you will be able to see. The magnification is easily higher than 40x. I have a loupe here, but I wanted to get confirmation from well-trained eyes.

Sorry, I understand that removing fan leaves is a poor idea. I guess my mindset was "I am harvesting today" and I started following the "Simple Harvest & Cure" guide, which indicates to begin by taking off fan leaves. During that point, I had taken some pictures and it crossed my mind to get confirmation online.

I am committed to harvesting this weekend -- my vegging tent is way overcrowded and needs to be moved or lost. So, this has to happen, I just wanted to make sure I wasn't shooting myself in the foot. :) Future knowledge.

135w? Nice. I like to wait till my leaves are browning. This shows me that the plant is at the end of its life. Your calyxes don't looks swollen yet either. Thats my other indicator. That's when the plant really puts on weight.

I don't know why other people were trying to talk you out of deleafing. Proper deleafing improved my yield and quality quite a bit.

Deleafing at the end of flowering never speed up the ripening to me.I tried one time to do it hard and the plant stopped to ripen.
I think deleafing should be start when the plant is in veg, giving it the time and possibility to modify its metabolism. This is just my impression but I know for sure that a leaf when it's grown around 30% of its final dimension,it become a source and not a sucker,so picking off leaves, especially the bigger ones,it's not convenient for me.Confirmed by my little experience.
