so the bubbas finally stopped stretching, and the super kush are packing it on heavy. they look so greasy already.

maintaining ph 55-58 and ppm 1200-1400. air temp is 80 and co2 is peaking at 1750. rh is about 65% steady.

things are filling in here nicely,one thing ive been struggling with is getting the edges to grow as goodas themiddles,im running the lr shades and at first was a bit ti close what sort ofdistance are u running off thetops,im at about 14-16inches now and could go up abitmore to even it out,what can you share .......

all the smallest plants should have been put in the most middle part of the tables. sounds like you vegged too long too. the screen should even the score at 2 weeks bloom. i dont think you spread out the branches like the system intended,

homie gm helped me here.. used random equipment.. took some of your knowledge ... bud just pulled down 9+ from a similar room with a 5 day veg and 7 600 s hoping for 10 or 11 out of here with a 10 day veg.. 2 weeks bloom same temp and ppm as you.

its loose rockwool in net pots growing in poly lined troughs the roots grow out of the pots into it, got some funky algae going on maybe that makes it look like dirt

thats rad man. should do okay. i would cover the baskets with white poly to keep out bugs and mildw/algae and light and reflect any light back to the leaves if thats still possible,

ya hydroton is how she was designed in the beginning. honestly, its a waste in yield and quality and time/energy/resources to veg more then 10 days. ive harvested more higher qualirty bud that took less time to trim from 10 day veg then up to 3 weeks in my experience. 4-6 branches maximum, and pillage the popcorn below at week2-3. but, it really is subject to the strain and conditions. if u follow med-man method, and can select elite fast growing babies from a whole wack(at least 2x as many as needed), 10 days max is all thats needed.

Cool the 4" rw were too big and waterlogged no matter what the flow rate was. I saved all but two of my plants by transplanting to hempy buckets. I pulled off the 4" cube in pieces and there was no roots at all except just below the starter cube. All 4 of my reservation labs plants are alive and vegging. Seeing as I can't find rw in the 3" I'm going to run the table with clay balls and aero cloned bubba kush.


Thats crazy, what a pull from those little plants man, nice work.

16 lbs from 8 1000s or 600s? That pk looks so chunky must be a different cut than the one on the island, the one here looks more like bubba kush i see on the boards all golf ball nugs. i think sativas kill it in this system, you can flip them once they are rooted and yield really well.

it was 8 1000, and that is my purple pain killer plant. the chunks are unreal. i would have loved to see that run. ive had it since 2005, and shes a hog. its a svg og kush x a purple ghani. its all ghani in growth and all og in smell and smoke,

how often are you watering in hydroton?... do you think twice an hour for 1 1/2 mins is sufficient for rockwool? ... i am used to dirt so its confusing not letting the medium dry out at all.. do you water at night?

il bet the bubbas only would have needed 5-7 days max veg, they are a major stretcher, but eyes that can see know they will pack it on heavy, especially where there is lighting from other tables crossing spectrums

mft and almost all nft by design were created to run 24/7. especially if you just use hydroton.

3 methods for mfts -

1- root in 3 inch, after i1 inch poip roots, plant in basket, cover with hydroton

2- root in 1 inch, then plant in basket filled with mini cubes or the other rw fibre. wait for roots to pop before planting in mft

well actually thos are the 2 i stick too, there is a million versions of what i just described.

i prefer taking 4x more clones then needed, then i keep the first 50% that root, then rerroot them in 3 inch, then keep the most vigorous 50% of those - med man method. that way you have extra 3 inch rooted babies to use god forbid something happens to your "keeper" clones,

hey bud,

2 things you can do (at least)

1- cut your 4 inch down to 3 inch before planting rooted cut.

2- let the clone prevegg under hid or t5 sunblaster until you have a solid root mass. i wouldnt ever put a clone or seed with no roots under direct flow water. you always need a solid root mass before planting, or they will suffocate, even with hyox.

ps i have used 4 inch before with no issues, just keep these things in mind, they cost more and take up more space. the med man method uses a lil more material in the beginning to increase size and quality in the end and save more material. they need a solid root mass,
