well, I despise the murderer part but admire the outlaw part and taking care of the Southie people. I am never supportive of a murderer, especially one that at times cooperated with the FBI. Still, a part of me can't help but not like it. First, Bin, now Whitey. In a way, I liked that he was eluding capture and giving a big F.U. to the pigs, who I never support. Now the government seems all-powerful, jailing people for what they think is not far away. So I cannot be a cheerleader for the fascists like the FBI and CIA. I would rather criminals remain free rather then them getting more powerful. One world fascist government, here we come! Really, the guy was over 80, what harm was he going to do? All the resources blown on capturing an old guy and now feeding and housing him as long as he lives. I am not sure it was worth it.

Watching Brotherhood in commemoration.

The Departed is not very close to the real Bulger's life, except for the fact it deals with Irish organized crime in Boston.

Brotherhood is actually based on Bulger and his politician brother.

The feds he had on payroll must have retired....or someone decided it was time for a promotion now that he had been moved up to No 1 FBI most wanted. Cause i'll be damned if they hadn't known where he was this whole time.

I've walked by where he was staying before... so strange to think of that in retrospect. Could of met the guy and not of known its him, I'm horrible at recognizing aged faces when all you have is a 15 year old photo.

he was caught with 800k cash and 30guns in the apt, but hes got waaaay more cash hidden elsewhere. In the court room when asked if he had his own lawyer, his response was "sure if you give me back my cash" lol. That said, his brother is a top political figure in Boston so he will most likely pay for all the lawyers.

The area he was caught in is a very nice part of LA right by the beach and one block from the 3rd street promenade which is basically a upscale outdoor mall. A waiter from a nearby restaurant has come forward saying that the couple ate there frequently. Often had the same corner table (lol love it) and frequently ordered baller food. Last tab they looked up was $200 for the 2 of them.

It looks like the tip came in from one person, which means that person is now $2 million richer. Though if I was that guy I'd be chillin in another country for a few years just to be safe.

You all know that next week he will suddenly have a heart attack. There are just too many people sweating bullets right now.
