I have smoked a cross of the original Diesel crossed with AK47, it was fantastic, but a pure Diesel would be nice to come by... my buddiy said it was the best girl he'd ever had...

I did an excellent seed run called Sour Nevada which is '91 Chemdog x Sour Diesel IBL. You can find plants in those beans that are extremely '91 Chemdog leaning.

I am sure many on Icmag have them. And cuts are around.

The actual Chem 91...I have the Apothecary Chem 91, I don't think they are the same. I'd really like to get my hands on the REAL Chem 91...

I don't think personally the Diesel made by breeders is all that special today... but the original stands on its own, it also bothers me when some try to compare Diesel to oh say Sour Diesel as if anybody beaking off has really had both

I call the '91 Chemdog cut that I got Nevada because that is the State of which I got it from and it was to stop any confusion. Many in the loop know whom I got it from just by calling it Nevada.

To me it is now strictly Nevada and you can see in all of my crosses with it I now list it as Nevada. When I made S1's I called them Nevada, when I crossed it with Sour Diesel IBL I called it Sour Nevada, and ect.

I hope that helps my friend. I hope you land some of the pure Diesel of which your searching out. It shouldn't be too hard.

Hey guys, just a quick question from someone who doesn't know much about breeding.

What is the difference between the original strain, say Sour Diesel, and the backcrossed version of it like Sour Diesel IBL?

I've always wondered because it seems confusing to me. A strain that is backcrossed with it's own genetics (doesn't IBL mean "inbred backcross line"?) I would think would produce the same genetics. Can someone please help me clear up my confusion? There's gotta be something I'm missing...
