green air cd6 trying to stay lit

i've got a cd6 co2 generator and for some reason yesterday the burner was trying to stay lit even with co2 monitor unplugged and the switch flipped to off on generator, even if i blew it out the pilot would keep it ignited...

i finally had to blow out the pilot and keep it shut off because my plants were looking a little bad from too much co2

i had to buy the green air cd6 because my CAP gen was doing the same thing and i couldnt figure out the problem, strange though that the cd6 worked for 2-3 weeks fine then all of a sudden started doing the same shit

any ideas? :tiphat:

come on guys, no answers?? need help asap i tried to get ahold of green air but nothing back from them yet...

this is a sealed room though the faster i can get my co2 back on the better please help!

I know absolutely nothing about co2 generation, but I will give this a bump anyway.

I'm posting about the pilot light that was blown out. If it was staying lit it has a gas flow, if the only way to put it out was to extinguish the flame then the gas is still flowing, just not lit. Maybe I misunderstood, anyway here's the bump.

that is some odd shit my guesses are contaminated gas (maybe rusted tank) bad regulator, are you using the same one as you used with the cap burner? or perhaps you are using NG with the burner set up for propane or propane with a NG set up

your best bet is to call Greenair
