I'm sick of people who moved here just to take advantage of our laws

we moved here after flying out to see my friend's band play the Fillmore in Denver
and then New West Fest here in the Fort
and the wife wouldn't shut up about moving here
Usually after a vacation she would talk about moving to where ever we had been for a month
and then shut up about it, not so with Colorado

Then I did some checking and the house we had owned for six years
was worth three times what we paid for it and I was on board with the move.
We sold right before the housing bubble burst. timing is everything

The year long move to Sonoma County California was work related,
the wife got transferred and a big promotion to boot

Trust me I didn't mean to start a argument by mentioning the 99 plant per card law in Sonoma Country
but since we just moved here from there 4 months ago
I figured I'd mention how it was done where we moved here from

Cost me a bunch of money
and I worked my balls off to move us back here
but I'm very glad we did

and it had nothing what so ever to do with the weed laws here

Told my wife I have one more move left in my old bones
when we move into the FC house we buy in 3-5 years

I'm not talking about you DH, you've always been very cool and respectful, one of that 99% I was referring to. Unlike some of our xenophobic natives who are pissed that their weed isn't so valuable anymore, I'm glad you and most transplants are out here. There's plenty of room here for cool people, we need more of em. Pricks, well, like I said, don't let the door hit you on the way out!

I could list a shitload of people who I've never had one problem with. Conversely, I can probably count the pricks on my fingers, it's a decent ratio.

I notice since I switched from Fox Farm to Earth Juice
I don't get that salty look deposit around the drain holes of my pots
never any leaf burn since I backed off on the strength of the nutes as I was advised here

July 2nd before hitting a show at the Mishawaka
$30 to park at the Misch this summer makes camping the cheaper way to go

I'd like to echo the "don't let the door hit you in the ass" comment
and add a "More dancing room for me" to it.

I'd never move for weed and I smoke daily. I love it and all, but it doesn't rule my life. It is a fun hobby, but it hasn't yet made me yell at anyone (that I can remember) or get pissed about cuts and such.

Bottom line: No one is going to fuck with you if you have a license and stick to the rules. You can pull way more than you need to smoke so what is the problem? I think we all agree it is bullshit that a plant is illegal, but I'll take what I can get. I don't make money off growing weed and I don't care to.

Even if I didn't have a license, I doubt I'd have a problem. I still act like it is illegal - 99.999% of people are not on a need to know basis...

If you told me 20 years ago in college I could buy clones and weed with my credit card, I would have been ecstatic.

You can get $25 eighths of good stuff if you poke around.

It would take a lot more than a restrictive caregiver policy to bail on Colorado. Shit, try living in one of the 36 states without a med law. Most of them are not as nice as CO.

I have to see these $25 1/8th and $150 ozs. I haven't been in a dispensary in over a year, but even then I didn't see anything impressive. I grow for a dispensary on the western slope, but my herb never hits their shelves, and if it does, its still going for $300+ an oz. You get what you pay for....

I don't get along with disrespectful idiots, sorry. It'd be as foreign as kissing that ape-chick! People who know me will attest: I'm a very respectful, kind person, until I'm disrespected. Then all bets are off!

Anywho, I haven't been to a dispensary in a very long time, and don't plan on it. Forget being on camera, and on record for doing something the federal government deems illegal. I'll be getting the fire and the funk, I've rarely seen (when I did go look around at the beginning) or heard of any real fire in the MMC's. It's always been with good homies that I have scored the most dank stuff. And it's gonna stay that way I'm sure, most dispensaries don't give two shits if their stuff is quality. I've heard some SCARY stories of what people feed and spray plants with in late flowering!!! WTF??? Who is THAT stupid to do that? Must be those amazing dispensary owners, who were bankers and other non growing types that saw the $$$ and came running.

I will agree with one point made through this whole mess: the MMC's and big money have really screwed things up, at least from a money making perspective. Those who had good contracts before everything went down, will be fine. The little guys just got cut out of the dispensary bit, but that wasn't enough, now it's ALL caregivers.

Screw it, time to just grow for myself, within the confines of my recommendation and AM20. If I have extra, I'll let a fellow patient friend have it for a good price. It'll work out, I have never ONLY made money from cannabis. Being one dimensional is not something I do, my whole self worth is NOT based on cannabis solely, nor will it ever be. I am pretty proud of the 14 years I've been growing and learning about quality cannabis, however. It is a distinct pride and joy of mine. I'll be learning, everyday, til the day I die.

Just got back from a ride on the bikes, it is a BEAUTIFUL day out, just a touch hot down here in the desert. We'll go back out when it's a bit cooler I think, after a vape sesh. Have a great day everyone!

I read on another site that MMC owners are sending patient records to the Dept of Revenue so they can check plant counts.

Sucks to have that info being sent to the DOR and not the health depart. Sucks to be on camera Just so they can laugh at the suckers buying ditch weed.

I wonder if they will find people signed up for multiple dispensaries... i havent been in a while.. last one was broadway wellness to sample some wax... meh ill stick with my own.
