Another fine day of trimming, I hung a ton of plants up without trimming them and I'm coming around to it today.I'm about to barf from the smell of weed, somehow I thought I'd averted a trim job by hanging them, not so, not so...

Hey people, looking great up in here just as usual. HL, chaco, tacoma, etc etc sweet work guys.

Thought I'd toss up a couple pictures of my first real attempt at OD. Had some extra plants and nowhere to put them so I figured out under the big hps in the sky would be a good place. Found a spot with plenty of sun, cut up some ground, tossed in several bales of promix, and voila. Going into this not expecting anything, I'm just gonna bend them over, let them grow, and hope that they get to finish.

1 basic diesel, 1 kksc, and 4 mcflys

I'm liking the basic diesel, broke a couple necks and will keep bending

The pollen is flying around in a 5x5 tent I got set up about 20 days into flowering. Kind of leaving everything kind of messy and flopped on to each other, hoping this helps both males pollen to hit all the females, once the males die down a bit I'll go in their and clean everything up.

He was close, M39 wasn't crossed to SS x NL5 - that's basically what it is. The Basic Diesel is M39 x Rez's Sour Diesel IBL.

least I got it in the ball park......I think they call it headband too right? If it's anything like the headband I smoked last summer at further fest..... then you will be stoked......Its a tasty treat.

Pretty sure it's one of rez's crosses. From what I've been told it's a good yielder and has a nice skunky/diesel smell, can't wait to see what she's all about. As far as headband goes there are several cuts that I know of, the only one I've gotten to try is the 707 headband, which I'm pretty sure is some sort of sour x OG cross. The original headband is also called original diesel or daywrecker, and the lineage of that one is chem 91 x (nl5 x mass super skunk), I bet thats the one you were thinking of.

yea sounds like you got it vado......when I smoked it my friend just said headband not 707 and he's into the names and such...I remember looking for info on it the day I got home......and I knew the nl5/ss was in there....I just confused the chem91....So many similar names on this faimly........I get um mixed up......I know every plant ive tried from it has been great....

I smoked up some headband last fall, I think.That's what the lb said "Headband", looked,tasted and smoked like ECSD.Excellent weed for sure, I've never seen a cut of it but there's still time.

Ever think of investing in a Trim Box (Automated Trimmer)? Continuous long hours of non-stop trimming can wear you down - it can be mentally numbing, having an automated setup saves so much time.

Oh, I'm far too gone a pot snob for auto trimming, I see the advantages, certainly...but I have this thing....about quality and I have crick in my neck when I see dried petioles on a bud...it's a terrible mania!! A prison almost, machine cut buds will give you 2K less per pound around here, if you were into that sort of thing.It's a hang up, I know.I feel like an old lady knitting a sweater for a grandchild I hate, a big one...

The Basic Diesel is Rez's M39 clone crossed to his ECSD v3...I believe when it was re-released as "D39" he used the IBL as the father. I've played with a few phenos of her and she is just gorgeous. Sweet, Skunky DIESEL!

I think I'm growing out the Headband...not sure yet! Here's a pic of her...She's JUST like ECSD, except the nugs seem to hug the stem a bit more...I need to get this girl properly identified! SickSkills? Where ya at?

looking good in here boys, I smoked a few headbands a couple years back and well nice pot all around, the dude I smoked them with swore by all of them, excellent stuff but never had the chance to grow any of them out, still plenty of time i guess. I had the joy of having my wisdom teeth pulled this morning, last thing the doc tells me before I go, NO SMOKING! I said damn Doc how am I suppose to get a buzz on? He then laughs and hands me a script for some painkillers. I don't eat pills I've seen a few friends ruin their lives off them, guess I can't say whether it was the pills or the disease of addiction. All I know is cannabis never affected my daily life in a negative way, for the most part, so I tend to stay away from most other things. Ended up having to take one of the pills earlier and well it was like 5 hugs indica bongs rips in a row, laid down for 20 mins next thing I know 4 hours later I am waking up on the couch with the weather channel on, such soothing music.

Hey all, great pics as always. Chaco that SSSDH looks killer!

Got some real queens in the 3 fems I got from 8 beans I popped of a cross I made 2 summers ago. A big hazy MRN SSH mom with BlueSonja Bx2 male, I've been calling Super Silver Sonja Haze (SSSH). Here are two phenotypes at 80 days, and nearing the finish line. 3 gallon smartpots.

Pheno 1 - chunky purple lemony haze



Pheno 2. Rock solid, more hazy lemon smells. By far the fattest nugs I have ever grown. Still chuggin'


Pheno 3. Grapefruit funk. Finished around 80.

Those plants are from the same fields that Dorothy fell asleep in, the magical mystical, magic carpet ride.A potent ornamental, I know ya'll probably don't approve but hey, I'm bored much of the time..My favorite is Persian Blue, this is the f11 generation. You'd have to grow a field of these to do any damage and I don't have a field!! I like flowers though...

My last SSSDH is beefing up with the verts on all sides, 2 weeks ago I thought she would ripen off but she's still going bigger at 80 something, I think another 2 weeks...I threw another 1000W bare bulb to help with the process...
