ok so I messed up -light Burn-bleached top

I messed up two out of 18 girls I'm running in clay pellets in an 18 site ebb and gro hydro. I got 4 600 watt air cooled lights
I had a brain fart and didnt think it was the lights causeing them to yellow untill it was too late. now I'm not sure what to do with them
basicly all the fan leafs died
the hairs are turning brown like they are finished but I'm only in week 5
I'm running chemdog so I know they go around 8 weeks
I think their dead because they smell like dead leafs and the brown hairs
should I let them go or chop them ?

Hmm...that bud doesn't look too damaged to me, but if it does have dead spots on it from the burning, you would want to watch for mold. Any necrotic material can easily mold, regardless of your room conditions. Hope it works out for you...good luck.

Thats not light bleach. Either you have some nute lockout, or you've been pollinated. I would let them finish. My 2 cents..

Looks like PH issues causing lockout not burning, light burning causes a very distinct color and while it is a yellow cream color that is not it. I think that you have some lockout issues. Pollination is also possible but I dont think it causes leaves to die to fast.

my ph is in check -I took off all the leafs that were bleached yellow this is whats left

Your still ok, I recently did a defoliation grow and my buds got super fat and dense, they looked like yours but with green leaves (still only a few tho not many at all)

Check your da to night temp/hum variations. That isn't light bleaching though, over fert in areas so flush real good with Ph adj H2O. Add dextrose/sucrose if desired at 2/1 120ml/60ml to 4 litres h2o. The hairs are just turning but check the trichomes! I wouldn't chop this far in either let it run and you'll be pleasantly surprised!

Looks like it is trying to finish prematurely due to nutes....lack of.....all pulling from same reservoir ?....like the beginning of a flush, before full bud development.

Might try giving the two an additional feeding.


Light Burn/Bleach would turn bud almost white like this-

-it was creamy white a few days ago -i didnt get a chance to shoot pics but now the hairs are all turning brown and finishing
so im now flushing the res for all 18 plants with just ph adjusted h20 for 24hrs
then thinking of starting to feed again

my roots look good for the most part i have found some root snot -but im using bud candy which makes eveything look brown and snotty,
from reading some other threads im trying to flush with flora sheild . I have been flushing the plants for 3 days now and plan on starting to feed again tonight

can i get an update...i amhaving similiar issues...week four and a few pistols look friends and yellow on top growth..just moved everything way up...like 14 inches or so
