Remembering the grandparents today for some reason and missing them like mad. This next hit goes out to the grandparents that we love...

In this fast pace world of today I feel some grandparents are loved but neglected.
If your grandparents have passed then they're sometimes is an big empty aching hole in your heart that can only be eased by precious memories.

I miss my grand father almost every day. Strongest, coolest and bravest man i have ever knew.
I still got one grand mother with 85yo and a pacemaker to give her some extra energy.
She still lives on her own being almost self-sufficient. Growing all their vegs and raising chickens and rabbits in order to provide her with the tiny amounts of meat that she needs.
Today i proudly recognize my grand parents as the most inspiring figures in my life.
We really need to bring back their teachings asap.
Great thread btw.

Thank you Chemoboi. Beautiful thoughts arise from this thread. My grandparents were something I cant explain well with only words. Of all the wisdom(love) they shared with me, Id like to thank them now for what makes me who I am today. My grandma taught me to love, and treat people how you want to be treated. My grandpa taught me how to hunt, fish, garden, and respect nature. What more does one need? He was 80 and I was 8, and I never felt so close to someone else till my son was born. Peace amigos and Happy fathers day.
