It doesn't look like 3 more weeks to me, but there are mixed signals. The pistils are browning rapidly, but they do look like the should swell quit a bit more and the trics are presumably clear. Maybe the heat has messed with them a bit.

Thanks for confirming that I'm not ENTIRELY crazy. :)

In response to you PM, these have no appearance of under fertilisation. looks sticky.

the necrotic portion of the leaves are just like yellowing. It is showing a deficiency in late flower, which is A O K.

No need for forest green at week 7/8

keep it up. I do not EVER venture into this particular forum... but hey, here I am

hey SH. i'm late to the show but looks like i made it in time for the finale :lurk:. plans are looking frostyyyy :D

i thought about shutting down for the summer too due to heat issues, but i can't grow enough for my needs as is, so shutting down doesn't make a lot of sense for me.

haha also i totally did that same thing with my thermometer/hygrometer. only it took me an entire grow cycle before i realized i needed to press the "out" button to read the remote temperature (and that the remote sensor was not also reading humidity). DUHHH.

keep it green buddy!

Not as frosty as the others, it doesn't seem. Also seems to be a higher leaf:bud ratio..

I'm starting to get the hang of the loupe deal. Trichomes are noticeably more cloudy than they were a few days back.. I'm thinking this Blue Dragon will be ready any day now.. 60 days is Wednesday, and judging by the trichs (as best I can tell), I expect it to be ready right around there..

Based on photos (in which I've provided no reference - sorry :)), any guesses on yield?

You know, just for shits and giggles.

Judging by the foxtailing,...... 1-1.5 oz dry, Those look like some chunky nugs so I hope I'm lowballing the finished!!!! :pimp3:

Is this indicative of anything in particular?

I just read it as the sign of a plant that won't hurry the f*ck up. :D

Day 59 today. Chompin' at the bit, and it'll be soon, but probably later in the week..

Green Candy, Day 45 12/12

Green Candy, Day 45 12/12

Here she is.. Trichs seem to be getting steadily cloudy.. Damn near all the pistils have turned, but there doesn't yet seem to be that final draw from the fans..

I definitely didn't tame this beast before I flipped'er. Whereas the Blue Dragon is basically 3 tall stalks, this one's a small bush. (I'd bet it's not even over 12" tall).

You'll see I REALLY didn't clean up any of the low/underneath buds & branches. That may pay off, it may not. The buds don't seem to be the girthiest, but they're all over..

..and who could forget this little guy down here? Honestly, I'm not even sure HOW or where it's attached. I saw it today, thought maybe it'd fallen or been snipped off (oops?) and was just sitting there, .. Tried to pick it up, and no, it's firmly affixed to the plant and living!

Note to self: Trim of all that scraggly shit on the underside of things next time.

Great to see you! I'm flattered :)

Probably going to leave her for another day or three.. I'm a little thrown by this foxtailing. The rest of the bud (that's not foxtailing, but on the same bud) looks like it's ready.. Trichs are mostly cloudy, ~15-20% amber..

The foxtails, of course, are more clear trichs, white pistils, .. It's like a bizzarro world.

Probably going to take the Candy 'til day 55 or so, .. The Pups Diesel, probably around 58-63..

Thanks so much for showin' up, and for the kind words!

Does it mean anything in particular when the buds foxtail out like that? I feel like I'm going to have buds that are 80% ready, 20% not.

The foxtailing is a sign of Sativa dominant genes coming out.

True Thai stick from the 70's was pretty much JUST Foxtail buds that were really long and wrapped around a stick of bamboo to dry, since the plant didn't really "Bud" but grew long fingers of flower calyx's like that.

My DJ Short Vanniluna gets some wicked foxtails (pretty much the same as yours) late in flower,.... those things are the best smoke on the plant! :pimp3:

Agreed

Agreed

Canniwhatsis is correct, it's a genetic thing,
and ya I thought the same thing the first time
I grew out my Old granddad 80/20 but fear not
and run it to full term (patients Danial~son)
you won't be disappointed.

True Thai stick in the 70's, ahh...... too be 15 again indeed ! :ying: peace.

Canni and Sprout

Thanks so much for your input y'all. When I read "Sativa genes coming out" I read "let it go longer."

I figured I'd be harvesting around 62-65 days. Am I wrong? :0
