i will toss myself on the fire here and admit while I just know this is useful information (saved to file)... i cannot figure out exactly how to incorporate it in the plan. Is it for when to start everything or more for the big natural "switch" or for the "finale" or all of it?

It can help determine the optimum planting day, at least thats how I would use it.

i was using it to find out how many weeks of flower i would get at various latitudes. i just scroll the days till i find when the sun gets closest to 12/12 and combined with the time frost usually comes on i can plan out what kind of plants i can expect to grow and finish.

or for places near the equator find out how many days of 12/12 you have so you can plan a cycle of planting and harvesting. for instance in florida jul - dec is good season for 6month sativa types and indica vegged indoors, and from march - june is good window to start plants that you want to finish in august all the way back up till round christmas when the days start getting longer again and would throw your plants back into veg.
