Raptor or Magnum OCHO??

Hey guys was looking for some feed back on which to get?

On youtube there is a video of greeners and some stoned ass kid is knocking on the magnum and than knocking on the raptor its labeled as sound test. In my opinion it had sounded as the raptor is a sturdier hood, I have always been a loyal sun systems customer but havn't been that happy with the quality control of my hoods, all about buying american products but the craftmanship on 30% of my hood purchases just havn't been up to par for example bent flange on the inside would have never noticed but being ocd all my shit has to be the same.


Lets hear your thoughts and if your pleased with your purchase.

fuck the magnums they leak, I like blockbusters though..dunno about raptors.

I've got 1000w HPS in 2 Ochos and grow a 7x9ft area inside a10x12ft room and yield insane in 3 gal airpots of coir. - 5.75 lbs dried n cured. But the hoods are flimsy and the glass is a pita to clean . I'm waiting for the glass to break everytime , even with help.

I've got a 1000w HPS 8in Blockbuster inside a 54in x 54in sunhut silver and it rocks as well . But the hoods are much stronger and much easier to clean . If I had it to do over in the big room It'd have Blockbusters as well , maybe , I think ...Hard to throw a monkeywrench in 1.3 Grams Per Watt...

Never looked at Raptors but I too like cannascholar dig the Blockbusters ....
