DIY carbon filter for new pc fan

I just bought an 80mm PC fan & need to attach a new DIY carbon filter to it. Anyone know of any threads/links that will help me choose/build the proper size?
My space is roughly 20 cubic feet. The fan is rated 73cfm w/a pressure of 13.8mmH2O.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

This is a little off topic, and may not be practical depending on where your tent/cab is, but have you considered an O3 genny?

Thanks for the response Philosophelon no, I have no desire to build an ozone generator. Don't have the room, and don't want to waist the power on something I can do passively. I've DIY'd a 4" scrubber before, and know that I already have everything I need on hand to make a smaller version.
Doesn't anyone know of a link or formula one can use to determine what size scrubber I should make? I found one formula in the Link-O-Rama in a thread titled DIY Carbon Scrubber for Dummies or some such, but that formula is for 4" or larger fans with a cfm rating of @ least 150cfm. I have a 80mm fan that's rated 73cfm.

i would just make sure you have at least 2 to 3 inches of carbon for the air to pass thru. the more the better...

i plan on doing the same thing in the future, building a carbon scrubber attached to a PC fan.

but i have to say i use some small (4"x3") ozone generators that are safe in your home. i have checked with test strips to make sure. they are about $70 and well worth it. between the o3 gen and carbon scrubber have only grown one strain i could smell. Afghani

I love my ozone genny. Still need filtration though. I am watching everybodies ideas so I can put em together and figure out a new system. I have downsized quite a bit from my last setup.

I am using only a 4x2 homebox atm. Its all I got for now. But I am working it like a mofo. Its amazing how much can fit in such a small space.

Hey Swampdankv2. I've searched this site high and low for some info about selecting the proper size scrubber for PC fans. Many seem to stick to 1" thick (or less) of carbon, but it looks like beyond that, most folks just wing it which is what I guess I'll have to do as well.
