Just days after first slipping it to her it seems that Mrs. Hopper has decided my pipe just isn't long enough to get the job done.

She wanted one of her own.

I made the pipe stem from a piece of walnut firewood. The bowl and inlay are sterling silver.

I used an unusual method to create the bowl. I wrapped sterling wire around a punch punch. I then hard silver soldered the joints. The bowl should be good to about 1100F.

The narrow bowl draws exceptionally well and smoke cleanly all the way to the bottom. These pipes hold about 4 hits.

Nice.... have you ever used silver clay?? That stuff intrigues me no end sort of skipping the old wax carving stage of jewellry making.
Nice pipes...I do like a nice wooden pipe.

Hi Harry

Claude and I do work with silver clay, me more than him. Haven't been able to do much lately with the price of silver soooooo high.

Do you make jewelry?

papers and glass are my thing, and my pen
