Hey there dope_roor that is some superb looking concentrate. What kind of material did you used to make that? Looks like you got a piece of the moon there;)

Be careful!

Butane is used because to get it into a liquid or sub-critical state requires much lower pressures, than CO2.

Butane worry about flash ignition.
CO2 worry about BOOM! (part failure)
Check out paintball to learn more about CO2, common cheap propellant for paintballs, until one ups the ante gets a Scuba tank, and runs HPA (high pressure air).

I was curious about doing extraction w/ a scuba tank, however, when I looked into it I found that oxygen + oil = explosion.. So is the HPA that your suggesting you put in a scuba tank the same or different from oxygen that you would get at a scuba shop??

Plain ol' air under pressure. Mostly Nitrogen. They fill scuba tanks with air, not pure Oxygen.

You wouldn't do an extraction with a scuba tank.
CO2 comes in cylinders usually at or below 2,000 psi.
But contact a gas supply company and you will find that there are all sorts of options, depending on your budget.
Since we are effectively grabbing an oxygen molecule when extracting, I am not sure pure Oxygen would be a desirable solvent.

All amber... No wax.

All amber... No wax.

Just lots of it.

This batch GC/MS'd at 76%.

I just received nice rep and comment on this post. Unfortunately since I still have limited status - I have no idea who! But thanks anyway, :)

This stuff actually did purge at cool temps. This strain always comes out dark. It is very tasty however. There was over 3 oz's here. :)

im holding both cans (i use power for my lighters) pretty sure it says Filtered 5+ Times:

but hey, if you can't tell the difference more power to you, you'll save $$ i guess. other than vector the only brands i'll trust are the ones with the UK "zero impurities" stamp, i.e. lucienne, colibri, london, newport

I didn't say I couldn't. I said 9/10 people can't tell the difference when they consume it. What I did say is I've noticed no difference in purity of product, flavors, yields, or anything else. I notice the vector is slightly more smooth when vaped, compared to King, but noticed zero difference between vector and lucienne. I just stopped using the latter when they switched over to plastic nozzles and i broke one in half with half a can of butane left.
