Hey!! if anyone thinks this was a bad idea, make sure you post that here!

I think it's a bad idea because they can put you in jail for it.

They should have secured them better so kids can't steal them. Good post PB, I read this this morning on yahoo as well and was like wtf....

I'm just saying .. there's better ways to do things that are less likely to land you in jail.

It would be wonderful if we could simply call the law and hand them over.

Most of the time, we can't.

And the rippers need to realize that also.

Never push someone to take action that is illegal. They just might decide to play by those rules ..

It's pretty serious shit peeps.

About 6 years ago I got a felony on my record because I caught a woman and her kid in my home ripping me off. I grabbed a shotgun and called the sheriff.

I was charged and convicted of 2 counts of unlawful imprisonment, which is the legal term for kidnapping.

The attorneys said I would have been better off to have just shot and killed them both since they were armed.

It's a sad sad world now a days. You can't protect what is yours.

Yeah .. it's bad ..

It seems that we have more legal protections killing then than handing them over to the police.

Well ya know; when I was growing up we were taught to respect other peoples property, don't take shortcuts through alleys, don't snoop over fences or inside buildings, and don't even know what somebody else owns as it is none of your business.

A lot of what we were taught was that people got shot for being where they weren't suppose to be and seeing things that we weren't suppose to see. But the fear factor was a deterrent, not just a TV show.

Now kids are taught that ass whippin's are abuse, it's okay to tell the teacher or and adult or even your parents to "fuck off". Because they can't do anything about it.

Just call 911 and CPS will come to the rescue if your parent is too strict or smokes herb. It's all the same.

Hitler used children too.

But then again, I did have more than my share of trips "out behind the barn" so maybe I was just conditioned at childhood to falsely believe that if you "spare the rod, you ruin the child"...

I've suspected for a long time this is how I got my back broken the first time.
