RO or no RO?

I'm just not used to feeding at this rate. Coco is a bit of a learning curve coming from soil. In veg they were great, but when I switched to my bloom mix, it was very weak in N, so they got starved and then the upper leaves eventually started getting curled burnt tips.

I see improvement in the six week plants, so I think they will pull through. The 8 week plants at least have green buds still, haha. I'll get something anyway.

20+ year soil grower here and running my 2nd round of coco. Now I'm wondering why I was wasting my time w/ soil. With that being said, use Canna nutes and follow their feeding schedule. I use r/o so my cal/mag comes from Magical from Technaflora. I was using CalMag+, ran out, had this sitting around & the plants showed no preference, so the cheaper one wins out. Proteck was also used at heavy freeding rates. Plants have never looked better.

Also, before you run out and by an RO system keep in mind that most systems generate 5 gallons of waste water for every gallon of RO you get. Apparently there are some that generate less waste, so that may be a viable alternative if, but still waste is waste.

This is a huge consideration in today's world. Especially in the western United States. Think of the grows in Phoenix, AZ and NM. If it is absolutely necessary, go for it, but there are other alternatives in most cases.
