Which seeds?

I was wondering if I could get some help on buying auto flower seeds. Really the only thing I'm looking for is quality genetics for a low price, anyone know which strain I should get?

I've been eyeing the SGS seeds too. From the grows I've seen SGS seeds are certainly more uniform than some of the other common offerings.

I can vouch for Vertigo from Paradise having killer smoke! The first two I have grown have both had excellent highs and stunning potency.

Autos from 'shortstuff' seem widely available through many retailers and from what i've seen on the forums are making alot of growers happy. They do both regular and feminised versions of most of their varietys too and they're certainly not overpriced either.

My local seed vendor didn't have them on his menue but i asked if he could order me some through his suppliers and he could. So i picked up a pack of 'MI5' today (It's an Auto AK47 basically). I wanted something for outdoors and it fitted the bill because it's pretty tall for an auto and also sativa dominant... and i've seen some successful and impressive indoor and outdoor grows with this one.
So i'd suggest the MI5.

I would have gone with something larger/taller but i couldn't find any of those 'super autos' (sour 60, super cali haze, Bigdevil ect') in regular versions ... just fems. But if fems is what you want then maybe i'd suggest one of those.

Onyx and MI5 seem to get pretty consistent rave reviews. As do Purple Jems and Sour 60. I haven't grown any of these myself, though.

Here's a bad picture of what for me has been a good pack of seeds. I run a single autoflower in my veg tent under its own little 250w CMH this time it was my last of a pack of 5 GH Green-O-Matic fem for as cheap as they are I can't complain. I grew out 4 of them my buddy grew out the other. I got some mold on the 1st run but only a little. It was my fault not the GOM's fault I let night time temps rise to the 65 percent range for way too many nights at the end of flower, it resisted but got a little. Any way this time no rot. it has a happy up high all 5 of them sprouted and were done around 60-63 days. I got good yields for short plants this one is over 3 ounces easy. So were 2 of the other 3 the fourth was just slightly less. it has a fruity nasty-catpiss aroma but mellows out to a better smell after a cure. anyway for a cheap AF that seems consistent I was happy.
Also I liked the fact that this one which I grew under a 250 was very much the same as the 3 others I grew under a 600.

I recommend sour60 hands down. Careful buying from SGS and others, they only sell feminized seeds, unless you want to keep buying seeds.... SGS and Sweet Seeds I think. Good stuff, but only feminized. (hopefully not forever)

Start with sour60, make some seeds, save some pollen then move on to others.

Check my gallery for sour60 pics, fat colas of pure quality. Not so tasty right after they dry, or a one week cure. But give them a solid 30+ day cure and DAMN!!!. If I wasn't such a stoner it would be the only thing I smoke (was for a good length of time)

JohnnyBlazin' ... it'd help if we knew if we knew if you wanted them for indoor/outdoor and if you want feminised or regular seeds.

SGS sells regular 12pks at the bay. I think youre thinking of someone else.

Oh, solid. I've been eying SGS and Sweet Seeds, I know for a fact sweet seeds is all fem cuz I really wanted the sweet caramel and jack47... but not feminized.

Probably mixed SGS with them, if pinkbud is not fem then I would def jump on that.

LiquidLight, Sour60 is only regular. There is no feminized sour60.

SGS doesn't have any FEM beans at the moment, sure in the future SGS FEM beans will be available but, keeping REG stock is a must. More then happy to see people make more seeds for their own stock and future use.

Speaking of stock at the Bay, sorry but there has been some kind of lag at getting stuff posted up at the Bay, nothing to do with SGS just the Bay not listing them. Check soon , they have 45 packs just waiting to be put up.

Thats good! as that what i intend to do with my AF Mix #1's.. have only seen good results with SGS stuff so i'm hoping that the resulting crosses i make will be just as awsome!

dont forget some of the Vertigo are nun autos ......
i will take some photos over the weekend of 2 of my nun auto Vertigos . 5 weeks under 400w then out side for about 4 weeks

Wow, I didn't expect so many replies. Probably should have specified that I'm an outdoor grower. Looking around at some of the suggestions I've decided to go with Sour 60 and the NYLD Autos but I have a question. The NYLD's are true autos right? 70 days from seed, regardless of light schedule?


I've grown bag seed before and it was great dope (the best I've ever had) but I'm wanting to grow AF's because I want to have my plants gone before anyone stumbles on them or the cops find them. Also, w/ autos I could get multiple harvests in a season.

I've heard of autos taking a little longer outdoors. Can anyone confirm if this is generally true?
