feed, water or feed feed feed?

So many folks advocate feeding with every watering in coco. Other suggest a flush weekly, and still others suggest a schedule similar to feed, feed, water.
Thought it would be nice to have this in one thread. So share your preferred methodology and give some detail. For instance if you are a fan of flushing, do you use 1/4 strength nutes to flush or plain water?

I'll start.
I feed every time i water, except on the tenth day when i fill my res. I fill my res when it is about 3/4 empty, and then feed with the 1/4 nute 3/4 water reservoir the night i fill it. Then add food the following day.
I do this when things are healthy and happy. When things look like they need a change, i adjust, hopefully in the direction they ask.

Coco is interesting. I have had perfectly healthy looking plants giving me a runoff ec of 2.5, and burned plants that are only fed 1 ec.
Ready, set, share...:ying:

How about sharing with us all an EC tht you are feed feed feeding with? Any of you guys ever check your runoff EC? I wonder if the plant is using ALL that feed feed feed or if the coco is buffering it and protecting the plant from burn.

I use the MaxiBloom KISS method and Hempys. never measured EC.

5 tsp MB
3 tsp DynaGro Pro-Tekt (for pH)
in 5 gallons H2o

mix and serve.

my medium is 50% Coir 50% Perlite.

Best advise is to learn how to read your plants. Water in every Region is different. In Coco is best to under feed than over feed. Every one here uses different Nutrients. So its impossible to give an exact ppm or ec value.

I use Pureblend Pro Grow and bloom for coco.
I never ever check ph.
I start at 10ml per gallon
add silicon at 2 ml per gallon
add LK at 5 ml per gallon

I average around the 1 gram mark.

Feed with every water.
Drain to 20% every feed/water.
Boost up to the day she comes down. Never had to flush with Canna; lab grade organics. No problems with taste/flavor/quality...drying or burning clean.

canna is 'lab grade organics'? Did not think canna was organic. Well i guess they have "bio canna" line. is that what you use?

Other than flushing, the only time I give my plants pure water is when I accidentally let the coco dry out.

I try to water before that point, so I'm not sure if the plants are recovering from the stress of not getting water when they expected it to be there and thus not wanting food right away (speaking before the plants get droopy or show any visible signs of stress though,) or if nutrients are getting locked up when the medium dries out and causing an imbalance when the next watering is full of nutes.

Not really tested this methodology anyways, so consider it anecdotal... Maybe a light feeding would be even better, or maybe I'm just imagining they are happier :D

About flushing - I do not gradually cut the nutes down personally, but I do feed a tsp/gal of molasses for the first week, then pure water in the last.
