12/12 from seed experiment.

This is my first time growing 12/12 from seed. I choose to use bagseed for this experiment. I'm using organic soil with perilite mixed in. I have used MG 24-8-12 till they showed sex and MG 10-30-10 since. Using 400w HPS throughtout grow. Ok let's get to the pics.

how long 12 /12 when you took pics. they look big for seedlings. you topped that one after it showed sex in 12/12? would love to see what happens

Each set of pictures are the progression of 3 plants.

The first plant is about 8 weeks old. Showed sex at 6 weeks.

The second is 7 weeks. Showed sex at 5 weeks.

The third is 4 weeks and has yet to show sex. I topped this one at 2 weeks.

Yes they are very big for there age. Very surprising.......

Well it offically is a SHIM now. Happened like overnight. Still has main cola and no sign of balls, so I clipped the branches with the balls and kept the main fan leaves. Chances are ball will show up, but hey we will give it a shot. Got a fair amount of clippings for some hash.

Indica....of some sort.

Fan leaves are huge, nice bud formation.

1 tbsp of Blackstrap Molasses per gallon, one watering a week.

Why organic soil and chemical nutes?

Don't know really, had some organic soil laying around a couple of old boxes of MG, grow and bloom. Remember this is an experiment. Really thinking about tearing down my veg tent and going with just a 12/12 setup.

ive been growing 1212 for couple years and i usualy get sex around day 26 or so from seed, usualy in first month, never had it take 6 weeks, you might need to check for light leaks, ya also said shim too, if yer for personal smoke id never take light of 1212, good luck

Yeah, I got no light leaks. Been flowering in this closet for a few years now. I suspect the Hermie was from just bad genetics. Remember these are just bagseed. Never know what your gonna get. Really thinking about tearing down the veg tent and going 12/12 all the time. Already noticed the difference in the electric bill. Very pleased with my crop so far.

By the way, never took longer than 1 month to show sex.
