roots organic master feed schedule or their normal schedule doesnt need PH change as long as you have a good buffer soil (they claim their soil or others amended).

anyone try the roots line?

organic or chemical? I'm guessing chemical ? soil or coco? mixed soil or straight peat? R/O water?

pH isn't the biggest problem at all. it's learning how much / when, and reading the plant that becomes more tricky then pH.

to me, it's tough to recommend nutes. the problem is what works for some don't work to well for others.. I would suggest for simple grow ( from clones I'm guessing? ) is bagged soil, and 1 bottled organic nute.. organic is easy as pH really doesn't matter as you got magic of microbes.. only you cant use tap water, need to let it sit for chlorine, and if he has chloramines, he needs a carbon filter or R/O system

I used roots organic soil and it burned every single one of my plants during a transplant. Was probably my fault I should have got 50/50 with light warrior or happy frog.

My city water has chloramines but I haven't had any problems using synthetic nutes in soil.

you'll see this in almost any bagged soil..

if you want a good clone soil, try out 1/2 happy frog ( the brown bag ) and half promix. it's good as it has some nutes and the promix has lime, so no need to add anything till you transplant them out. they can get big in this and need nothing, and you will need to transplant out before you see any nute def's.

this is better then light warrior, as promix will last forever cut with anything, even if you don't use happy frog, cut anything with promix as it's cheap, and works great

yeah man, no worries with chloramines with salts. it's the organics as chlorine kills the microbes. and yes plants do like some chlorine, but in such trace amounts..

have fun
