4'x4'x40" high SOG Yield?

I, for some reason, cant seem to get a str8 answer to this question.

I understand there are ALLOT OF VARIABLES. I'm looking for
what your goal would be in dry weight..........Swt#4 is my first strain pick........

So the cab

4'x4'x40" high
Two vertical (inside tube) 400 watt cmh (center of the cab)
8 96 watt power compact bulbs (vert. on walls around the whole cab)
4 96 watts (on ceiling Horz')
Blumat auto water
Ac system
Water chiller system
Auto tea dosing system
Co2'
Airpots
Organic super soil
watering around 7.5 ph (fish tank)
watering with a light tea once a week......(not sure what tea mix yet, will be very very light)

With this setup, my goal of, 32 oz @ 10 plants way out? That's 3 oz dry per plant (about)

So 10 plants with 40" high to grow, 4x4' with 800 watts, and about 800 watts of Power compacts. 1600 watts total.........

with that height, i'd be happy w/ 1lb.
assuming you're not doing a seedrun.
you're the 1st person i ever heard of having more width than height.

SOG or Sea of Green is generally done using female clones planted at 4 per sq/ft and grown single cola style. So with a 4x4 space you could potentially plant 64 clones in there.

I grow single cola SOG style in hydro, 36 clones in a 3x3 ebb/flow table. I put them straight on to 12/12, important if height is a consideration. I consider veg time a waste of time. I use a 1000W HPS and average about 1 oz per plant dried. I think an indica is a better choice for SOG's rather than a tall sativa.

I'm not sure how it would go in soil but worthwhile giving it a go. Best of luck to you.

Well, humm don't like to be 1st at anything. So i will increase the height
up to 48"

Still thinking.................Do i really need 48" for SOG clone too 12/12? Do i need that much height to get 1oz per

I currently maintain 4 mother plants and can easily get over 40 clones from them every 2 weeks if I want to. I have had a lot more mums in the past but 4 is enough.

I keep the mums under a 430W Son T and feed and hydrate them very well prior to a clone run. The light schedule is 18/6. To be successful at SOG's one must have a reliable cloning method and not be apprehensive about plant numbers.

Thanks helpful info! So to be safe ill go with 5 moms
3 phenos, and a copy of the 2 best, of three, for safe keeping.

So 3 phenos, x1.......x2.........x2 = 5 moms.
My moms will be under spiral compacts. Two 100 watt 5500k One 300watt 2700k And a few t5 03's(blue) on the walls.


EDIT: I left the first idea up, but after thinking........i'm leaning towards one 400 watt CMH with t5's on the walls for moms

I'mrunning a scrog, my box is 4x4x2. The flower area is 2x3x4, you will need the height so you can get to the back of your box. You didn't say if the lights were movable, up and down. in my smaller area its necessary to raise the lights if I need to reach the back.

yep the lights are on the 4 walls vertical, and one vertical cool tube
center cab, with a 400 CMH, nothing moves. i think i can get back there with 48" of height. Plants should stay right around 30"
so that leaves me 18" and only reaching 4 ft......its a little tight
but will be okay i think........
