Really, all I need to grow is Green Ice, shes so FAST! You cant disagree with time comparisons like this:
Both at same day of flower. The number of days flowering got a bit mixed up, but these are at 45-50 days of flowering. I pulled some GI's around 40-45 days of flowering and they are dank. Aren't indicas supposed to be faster? Stardog looks more indica to me, and GI looks like a mix of indie and sativa but finishes way faster.

Green crack is half afghan...thats where it probably gets its speed...
Not knocking your green ice brother but Stardawg @ 10 weeks is nothing to shake a stick at.
I understand the speed factor, but some strains just do some crazy shit if allowed to finish properly

I agree with you guys, and of course I know quality. GI is nothing short of A grade. Stardog is an amazing strain as well. I think a longer flowering strain can be worth the time for sure don't get me wrong, I am just amazed to see the difference sometimes! Honestly though, I do think I'd rather grow a strain that finishes fast and has great quality, Green Ice is fast, smells strong and amazing, and is stoney as fuck, I've found my girl.

Though I agree with Sub that lower buds are Grrrreat @ 70 days I think BHT-Hogsbreath kinda hits into this category. The top nugs are easily done @ 56 days & IMO quality is there!
Especially outside, a quicker finisher can mean the dif between a nice smokeable crop & failure. It's much easier to deal with pest & disease issues when in veg but...at least for me...my pest/ disease Rx options are way reduced when I got pistils

got this cut over two years ago from PNC when they were first down in san diego before moving to long beach, the cut was giving to me and labled G-13, now ive never had g-13 so ive always thought maybe this to be it, but after seeing a countless amount of ogs i think this has to be sum kind of og cross so maybe i got a mis-labled cut so what this stuff is pure fire has a totally different smell and taste then any other og ive ever tried.. any way check her out at seven weeks
