hi everyone. this year im goin to log a grow to look back on. im trying some new methods (new to me) that will hopefully improve this years run. im trying the home made bottomless smartpots in hopes of getting a better than usual yeild. these "hoops" as i call them are also placed in wetter areas than i usually chose in hopes of being able to water less frequently. i have 3 hoops that each hold 2 bales of pro-mix BX which are 3.8 cubic feet a piece (approximatly 100 gallons). thats 7.6 cubic feet per hoop. . i also have 13 smaller hoops that each hold only 2 cubic feet of pro-mix pro (about 25 gallons). along with those i have around a dozen 20 gallon holes dug and filled with pro-mix pro.
Nutrients- *all organic*
-Happy frog all purpose 5-5-5

- all holes have soil moist crystals in the bottoms of the holes. ive been having great luck with this product :)

Sounds cool, have you ever grown the Jumbo Grizzly before?

I've got some crosses, from my backyard last year with Nepali Grizzly and another local strain I've been growing a few years..we'll see how they turn out. I've always been curious about the Jumbo Grizzly though..

Rugged grow site, Bluebud. I like the looks of those bottomless smartpots for the wet spots.

I'll check your grow again.

Happy Harvests!

another 3 northernberry in another spot. i got out 3 chemdog clones in their own 2 cubic foot hoops (pic of the 3 at the blowndown pine in previous pics) didnt take pics because the mosquitos were to damn thick to stop moving. ill update next week or so with new picks when im watering. i will have a total of 8 different spots and eventually close to 30 plants out. thats all ill be able to handle caring for myself :) -bluebuds

Yeah, I have been sick and tired of lugging water for 65 plants the past week. Been a few weeks without rain, but it looks like this will end tonight. Again, best of luck.

so i think i figured out how many gallons of soil i have in my hoops. the 3 big hoops are holding approximatly 100 gallons while the smaller ones are holding 25 gallons. my holes each hold 20 gallons and are lined with trashbags to retain some moisture. and of course they have soilmoist crystals in the bottoms. should be plenty of root space for my babies :) -bluebuds
