How do you avoid "weed hangover" and being burnt out

i love smoking bud, im most likely addicted to it. i cant go a day without wanting to smoke weed, or even an hour. i think i like the act of smoking weed more than the high. the high is really good for like 30 minutes then just drops off and i feel super lazy and tired. how do some of you daily smokers manage to smoke so much weed and not take a nap every afternoon. coffee? exercise?

i only smoked 1 bong hit today and its been 2 hours and i already feel lazy and tired cant stop yawning. i got a solid 9 hours of sleep last night and i want to go back to bed. it happens with all different kinds of strains whether i smoke some jack herer or sour D i dont notice 2 much of a difference in the highs.

the weed i just smoked was some kind of trainwreck haze cross or something i dont know. looks hydroponic grown and didnt have much taste, really frosty nugg.

well it depends,

i do think herbs will bring out the inner personality in you,

so if you're lazy, it'll make you lazy.

i can smoke one and work all day or smoke and work all day no problemo

or just sit back and enjoy it.

Only smoking it gives me a hangover.

No problems when I vape or eat it.

Ps. I have also seen where moldy and or chemical contaminated weed made me feel hungover. I stick to only homegrown.
 
well i think naturally im a very fast paced and hard worker compared to my friends, most of them sit around all day smoking bud and im usually out working or doing random things. but those are the days i wake up, dont smoke, and leave the house sober and do a bunch of sober shit, and then i might smoke at a friends house at the end of the day.

but the days where i wake up and smoke right away i end up never getting shit done, or i go outside to do chores and get anxiety and other bullshit that makes life a drag.


fuck i hate to say it but maybe i should take a break from smoking. bad timing because my harvest is due in a few weeks and i just bought a half oz of like 4 different strains sitting in my stash box and for some reason i bought some hash while i was at the club because it was only 15 a gram they were having a sale lol.

well, its all in your mind,

turn those chores around in to something that interest you,
like when you go hang out with your friends, now you have to
go pick up some dirts for you ladies an a bag of burgers for yourself
on the way home.

rather then wait and tell yourself ill get the dirt tomorrow cuz this couch
is so comfy and the remote to the tv is already in my hand. :D

Think you may of answered your own question dude although I'm gonna take a guess here and say your fatigue is probably due to other factors. Do you smoke cigs?, How old are you?, Do you exercise?, Overweight?, WHAT IS YOUR DIET???

( I capitalized the last part because it seems millions of people eat mcdonalds and drink soda all day and wonder why they feel like shit. Many can get away with this lifestyle at a young age and it won't really be noticed until getting older. Also because cannabis can almost eliminate almost all nausea, if you are a chronic smoker you may also never feel adverse reactions from an unhealthy eating lifestyle because the herb is always balancing it out. you are what you eat my friend.)
 
im early twenties, i dont smoke cigs, im not overweight quite skinny actually, i exercise by walking and running with my dog maybe 30 min a day and i do basic weight lifting nothing too extreeeeme. i rarely ever eat fast food, i eat alot of sushi and beef, and fruit too.

do you guys think its because i smoke so much bud that i always have dopamine in my brain, and so when the high wears off theres no more dopamine hitting my brain so thats why i feel bored, tired and "burnt out"

If you are growing it and buying it, sometin wrong. Plann Ahead. Wakin and bakin can/will 'deter' the days activities. It's not you. If normal chores give you anxiety, get a job or another one. Play golf. Golf and smokin weed might kill you though. Get married, that can amount to real anxiety. What I'm trying to say is try to gain perspective on real anxiety.

Just my thoughts on your thoughts, I've had them too. You dont drink when you 'smoke' it do you? Cause I get a hangover from budda products, so I dont do it, or I could keep eating or in your case smokeing it and loose track of what real is. I vape from 6am on and off thru the day till about 9pm. I do have anxiety about things: today I worte out $10K of bills, anxiety! but it must be done. Do you smoke ciggaretts?
 
IMO, weeds not addicting, but you can be addicted to it; the difference is everything. There will be people here that will probably mock you for your problem; it's self-conscious posturing, so ignore it when it comes.

It's pretty clear you have a problem, man. You've said so and know it. Don't get caught up in the mindless rhetoric about how it's "not a drug," etc. That stuff is just as dopey and unscientific as the anti-drug campaign itself.

You've recognized it controls your life. That took some balls. Bravo. Now work on it, and get help if you need it.

I find that bongs burn me out than pinners or the vape. I also find that if I go to sleep high I'll be more "fuzzy headed" the next day than if I'd waited a few hours before sleeping. If I do smoke during the day, I try to keep it to concentrates (hash, oil, budder, etc.) or very sativa leaning strains. I normally try to wait until night though.

I have the same issues.
Extreme hangovers after a night of smoking, even if it's just one joint or a bit of vaping.
It stays with me, and makes me lazy/stupid.
Other friends don't seem to get this effect.
I know when I quit, it takes me 3-4 weeks to come down all the way.
I could never smoke while working, although friends smoke on the ride to work and at lunch time.
Don't know how they do it.
Also, I cut my herb at first sign of amber, so it shouldn't be "sleep weed".
This is a real problem for me as I am groggy in the morning, and it takes half the day to shake that feeling.
 
hey yall this is what i was thinking about earlier, they just posted a news article saying that chronic cannabis smokers have up to 20% decrease in your cannabinoid receptor activity. so this is probably why i feel burnt out and unable to enjoy things sometimes. and the good news is that its reversible! so i think i need to take a break from smoking, it will be hard, but im gonna try to do it.

Using molecular imaging, researchers were able to visualize changes in the participants' brains and found the cannabinoid CB1 receptors of the smokers had decreased by roughly 20 percent compared to the otherwise healthy people with limited lifetime exposure to marijuana.
 
i havnet been able to find any strain that makes me feel active. what day should i pick my bud at for a better high? i heard if you pick early you get more clear headed high, but then it looks premature and people wont pay good money for it. i guess i can chop a few plants early for personal stash and grow the rest another few weeks for the couchlock high?

i tried hella sativas, everytime i go to the club i buy some kind of jack or haze and it does give me a kind of energetic high for the first 30 minutes but like all weed it reaches ceiling and i feel burnt out after a few hours.

i always chop mostly cloudy. i never let it turn to amber. try some sativas man.

i read somewhere that in traditional chinese medicine, that marijuana is a yin plant

and

since most of us are more yin or more yang

this can cause excesses or lack

so that a lot of people, who have tendency to be cautious around people, or be lazy

then it pushes them even further into that state, puts them inside a shell

should I talk to these people ? should I be afraid ?
are they gonna say "X" if I Say "this" ?

I really believe the herb is not for everyone
I think the fact that it's illegal causes some problems on the psyche of some people too, paranoia/stress
