I'm looking to get a little feedback on the Badass Ballast. I'm looking to run a 600w HPS in my flower room. I'll probably go with a Daystar 6 reflector and a sunmaster 600w Super for the bulb (if anyones got opinions please share).

a guy has a thread up in the growroom design and equip forum, his broke and he received poor customer service. personally, i don't think i would ever consider buying a ballast named "badass." do they have the fancy hummer on the box?

i went to a local store that stocked advanced products and they had 10x badass ballest in there inventory and they wouldnt sell me one since they were so loud and they were not sure if there were all defective but once they recieved there new ones they were just as loud so they just tried to sell me a phantom but i went to a much better store and got a lumetek that you just cant beat
