I work with a girl who grew up in Colorado Springs and moved out here about 8 months ago. She said that the bud out here is way less than in Colorado...and when you say super low for dank, what do you mean? Bomb ass outdoor here goes for about 2500 a lb...bomb ass indoor goes for about 4000 a lb....not knockin Colorado, just saying that Cali has been doing it for a while and things out here are big already, 'rado is still growing...and as long as they do, the heat on Cali is off...THANK YOU!

As noted, I saw 4K all day for good indoor in Socal. All day long..
In Colorado I saw 2800-3200, and the 3200 was a rarity amongst a sea of 2800 elbow's of impressive indoor quality.
Again, not speaking authoritatively about any of this. Maybe your world is different. But I think your "bwahahahhaah" was misplaced; I think most would agree that CA tends to fetch roughly that more per pound on average as of right now.

In theory this makes sense, but in practical application I will say it is not true in most non-med states. That's the rube of staying in most non-med states; it literally makes no sense whatsoever in most states. It's a zillion times the risk with no more reward. My bro stays put in Myrtle Beach facing a dime for his grow, and nets the same per pound that I did in Socal. wtf?
You may be 100 percent right in NYC, I have no idea/experience. But in the Carolinas, Ohio, Kentucky et al, the prices are mostly the same as California- 4-ish a pound. The only benefit is that you can be a mediocre grower with mediocre genetics and still get that 4K out East IMO.

More affluent areas, in the northeast, NYC, Boston, etc., more $$. There is plenty of selection in the NE, especially with med state goods, but TOP quality bud still commands top dollar. 6-8K all day, but then again top quality is going to demand top dollar in any market.
A nearly 200% markup is a huge difference.....Real question being, is the juice worth the squeeze?

the northeast was way more better for me . suburbs of boston top dollar no questions all day. and rent prices were half of what i would have to pay in cali if i did have to rent
Southern states and the bible belt is where you will get the most money for your product. Although boston, new york, hartford, all the surrounding areas you should be able to get 4-5k per lb all day aslong as its piff or D.
If i had to move somewhere to grow it would be Hawaii.. but im more then happy in Maine. maybe its time for a summer home?
