I was lucky enough to grow up during the golden days of the WWE (then WWF) wrestling - the stars aligned so that I was still young enough to believe that it was all real lol

We lost Macho Man Randy Savage this week, which made me do a lot of reflecting back on my childhood cos wrestling was just so darn cool!

SO, what moments n memories from that golden era stick out in your mind?

Some of mine ...

- Jake The Snake Roberts letting his COBRA bite into the arm of Macho Man Randy Savage

- Hulk Hogan picking up and slamming Andre The Giant without doing his back in

- The Ultimate Warrior trying to conduct a verbal interview

- Rowdy Roddy Piper's antics

- Fave tag teams: Demolition (Ax & Smash), The Bushwackers (Butch & Luke), British Bulldogs (Dynamite Kid & Davey Boy Smith), Legion Of Doom (Animal & Hawk), The Rockers (Shawn Michaels & Marty Jannetty)

- Jimmy The Superfly Snuka leaping off the turnbuckle as if it were the Winter Olympics ski jump

- The fake mace that they used to spit at each other

- King Kong Bundy

My All-time favorite match that I can remember like it was yesterday was Hulk Hogan and Brutus the Barber vs Macho Man and Zeus. Summerslam 1989 i believe!

I'll forever remember Jimmy Snuka doing his leap, off the top of the steel cage, coolest thing I thought I ever saw. Remember at first, instead of a flying body splash, he used to deliver flying headbutts off the top turnbuckle, to his downed opponent. Guy seemed fearless.

Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat had loads of knowledge, and knew all the moves plus was a high flier.

Loved the Moondogs too Spot and Rex! Funny as hell.

Good memories.
