so my garden got infested and im on my last 2 weeks before harvest. i didnt want to bomb the place so i heard of spider mite predators.
i went and brought some (phytoseiulus persimillis, neoseiulus californicus, mesoseiulus longipes) after spreading them over the infested plants some weeks later, i see that theres more webs on some plants then ever! and im getting bumps and skin rashes that i never had before in my life! (little tiny red bumps like bug bites, but all over my arms)
has anyone ever experience this? or got any skin rashes before? im waiting to see if the bumps will go away in a week or so before i have to see a skin doctor.

and also any recommends on what to do in my garden? bomb the place a few times with pyrethrum tr? or wait till after harvest then bomb and treat all the other plants?

You could try neem oil. You won't want to spray it directly on buds if you're two weeks from harvest, but if you spray everywhere else, it will at least help to control their populations. Especially with multiple applications.

Lets give it some thought.

I googled the wee beasties and waded through the adds.
Waste of time there.

Might be fruitful to talk to the folks that sell the predator mites if there are any "folks" there to talk to.

Seems logical that pedators will get desperate enough to try to eat you when they run out of yummy mites in a closed environment.
(Dey so hongrey by now, dey could eat a stinky human.)

Outdoors, the predators just move-on, looking for more prey, yah?

But, it's all conjecture, I don't know from experience.

As for "treatment?
It's way too late for poisons!

Been using dryer sheets here, indoors and out.
Have been bug/borg-free ever since I started doing that!

Prolly too late in your situation, but worth a try.

Turn off your fan.
Wad some up.
Make li'l "snowballs" and distribute them throughout the branches.
I don't think it kills them, but they sure don't like it.
Given an escape route, most kine mites will vamoose.

I line the escape route with tanglefoot 'cause I no like da borg.
<Weeze holds sticky card near him ear. Hears millions of tiny screams, smiles.>:)

Best of luck with this, brah.
Even if ya save it, still gonna taste like borg poo.
I'd get out the bubble bags at this point.

Borg poo dissolves in water and the corpses, husks an' webs get filtered out.

Go to WallyWorld and hit the spice section... You're looking for 100% pure Citric Acid in a powder form. It'll cost about $5.

Mix it @ 1 Tbs/gal and 1/2 Tsp Brer Rabbit Molasses.
Spray the piss out of all plants even if they don't appear to be infected.
Repeat every couple of days until a couple days before harvest.
The last couple of days just spray em down with fresh water

Your weed might have a hint of citric smell/taste but it is really slight and barely even noticeable if you do a good job of rinsing in the last couple days.
============================================

Also as a LAST RESORT: you can go to Schucks and get a box of road flares. Cut ONE into about 2" lengths, it'll give you 4 pieces, place em in soup cans around the room, turn off ventilation and light em. Then leave for a couple hours and turn on ventilation again.
I put the soup cans inside of a bigger coffee can with an inch or so of water in it, to prevent them from getting knocked over, or getting too hot.

Like I said above: Last resort. It does leave a slight sulfur taste in the bud.
Be careful also cause them fuckers burn hot.

Ya those fuckers irritate the shit out of my skin, but a shower seems to help a lot. washes out my pores, and the bumps on my are go away. a little lotion afterwords is good too.

Hey flyer,
With most of the biological controls (pred. bugs), you have to be in veg to use them. If there are not enough hours of daylight for 'em, they think it's time to chill!
Peace.

thank you all for your input. its new for me to find out that its not effective in 12/12. my veg room seem to be under control. i dont see any mites or anything there. only my flower room where plants be in at least 2 months and big tall leafs. i do not want to spray anything in the flower room due to last batch i did a spray and end up with bunch of moldy buds.. (lost a few oz) i do have neem oil mix with flormite and azmax, but use only in veg. flower i do not want to use any kind of spray or water to risk getting mold again.
i have brought some PYRETHRUM TR MICRO-Total Release Insecticide bug bomb and spray a little bit tonight, hopefully kill some and planning to bomb the room after harvest in a week.
i guess those of you that used the predator mites only got minor skin problems. my itches are bad! got bites/ bumps all over my arms and neck..
i went back to the hydro store and talk to a few of them guys about the predator mites skin problems but they said they never heard of it. but i never run into any skin problems till now.. i think they just trying to make a sale, they only the retailer but i recommend DO NOT USE ANY PREDATOR MITES IN THE FUTURE !!

fuckin hate mites...i would just start flush and chop early man...then nuke the whole veg room tough. and spray any incoming flower plants down with floramite and then 2 days later hit them with azamax, then 2 days after than hit them with SNS17...then 2 days after that hit them again with floramite....gotta rotate your poisons on them bitches....i cleared my veg room this way but i left out the floramite for one rotation on some flowering sour D and sure enogh when it started getting hot they took over and made short work of my sours...fuckin angry because now i gotta chop 70 day sour at day 54...but fuck it id rather just sell some premo bud than have to deal with these fucks...

That far along in flower I wouldn't be trying to spray anything. You can use a vacumn cleaner hose, and suck them off the buds though....Experiment with this and you can limp through until chop, then disinfect the flower room. You want to fight that battle in veg.
If they are persistent in your area or room, fight the battle in veg, spray up until flowers start happening, and grow really fast strains so they don't have time to reproduce enough generations to be a huge problem. If they have 3 or 4 days between generations, the fewer days you have towards the end of flower the more geometrically progressing generations you can avoid. The difference is great if they get going in your room between a 55 day strain and a 70 day strain. Think doubling times.....
