Can a Blockhead F2 be better than its parents?

I had some original Blockhead seeds from awhile back and all 11 of 12 were female which was great. I ran the original phenos I kept for over a year until I lost them. Fortunately I did a controlled polination with pollen from my one Blockhead male with the best Blockhead keeper I had. I ended up with a bunch of very nice seeds which I am running clones of now but the seed mother was awseome and just covered with snow thrichomes. Much more so as I recal than the orginal mother. Is this possible to have the f2 generation of a pure strain like BH be better and bigger buds and much more resin production?

Its very possible. You will likely have some better, some worse, and some about the same. You could use nice males from the f2 seeds to backcross to the clone you like too.
With the parents of BH, you should get something really nice expressing itself if you run enough

As FT said, anything is possible.

You only had one male which means you use what you've got in terms of father genetics, but with 11 mothers you can make plenty of seeds and practice your selective breeding skills.

Inbreeding tends to lead to less interesting material, so the bigger the gene pool the better.

On the picture you see Blockheads in the foreground and a Blockhead F3 in the background. What you select is what you get. Bigger and fatter doesn't necessarily mean better though,

Thank you FT and Rosey. Your Blockhead pics have been my inspiration Rosey. The column like growth you achieve from top to bottom is whats always impressed me. I will post a few pics later today of my BH F2's at day 37. The grapefruit/mango smell is fantastic as well.

That is fucking huge. Thread deserves a bump been researching Blockhead because of Chim's crosses and the fact I need somethin in the stable that doesn't grow like a Sequoia Tree in the fuckin winter (ahem almost all new popular hybrids).
