Sammakko's first Terrace in España

Hello all!

Now I have found my place, I have most of my beans and I am ready to grow! My plan is to have a small terraza grow to test the outdoor elements and to try keep all the strains relatively shortish. Not wanting them to be 8 feet high.

I have popped 2 Ace seeds Panamas, 1 CannaBiogen Caribe (will be two soon, 1 didn't germinate), 1 El Niño and 1 Big Bang from Greenhouse waiting for the autumn to be cut. All of them are female beans and all will be done in terrace, in soilmixture (most likely something like BioBizz lightmix, thats what they are now...) under Mediterranean sun. At the moment I have only given them Canna BioRhizotonic with ph 6.4-6.6. (Pictures will be taken tomorrow, still no ADSL at home so need to go bar for it, and my camera is with my roommate at mo.)

I have done some vert micro grows with fluorlescent in the past in Finland, and one HPS grow witch the pigs took out... (own fault...king alcohol)

Now hoping to have a nicer grow time and harvest with my beauties in the sun. Also have sown 2 Automarias till date, and will do more of them and some Roadrunner freebies, as time goes by. Also waiting for CBG Sugarloaf beans to come to me as they went in to the backorder and should be restocked in few weeks.

Hopefully this will be something to look into, at least this far I am liking the game!

Justice, Love and THC,

I think you can do it, bro!

I'm running Ace's Vietnam Black x Thai In a micro grow right now (6wks old, 12/12 from seed, no pruning....yet) and they're only 2-3 ft tall at the moment. They've slowed their stretch and seem to be focusing on filling out now. I think your biggest hurdle will be your natural photoperiod and keeping small pots of dirt moist in the sun.... Might I suggest that you start any sativas indoors under 12/12, in small pots, then transplant them outside at the begining of September (summer Equinox-Sept 21/22). And some scrog action like Freezerboy or VerdantGreen would go a long way towards yield and a short stature. :)

Good luck with your grow!

A few years ago I was in Barcelona and was amazed to see people growing right on their balcony. One just meters from the police station. A truly enlightened approach to cannabis on the part of Spain. All the best with your grow!

Wehey,

Just quickly to pop in. My girls have been attacked by few whiteflies... been picking them out and gave them garlic-tabasco bath for the ladies. Hopefully they don't do too much damage...

For future any ideas for good pest sprays, organic or home made? Read through Jorge's books, but if anyone has other ideas or nicely functinal recipe against any buggers... I think I will spend my summer battling with pests.

Panama and Caribe luckily had only few as El Niño & BigBang had quite a few more...

Everyone take care and enjoy your holidays!

Yeah listen to Krull bro :)

And small infestication doesn't do anything. Specially if ya wanna go full organic so that's just part of the game. You fix little food for birds too then bro! :D hahaaa

What about yellow sticky strips? :)

That will aso tell you when they're coming back.

Good luck with your grow, ladies looking nice despite the bad weather.

Do you think you'll finish the Panama on time and in a small size? It's a pure sativa mind you. My 2 cents: Keep her pots small and ratio the N on that one.

A long waited update... I haven't abandon you guys / gals.

I had some family visiting and now I had to leave for a week training in Germany - Thats why the delay.

To the main thing - my ladies, they were fine on tuesday when I left them after watering fully. Got rid of the flies after 2 applies of the kitchen made garlic-chili-spray and hand checking / picking twice a day.

I needed to move them in bigger pots (4l) to hold the moisture as I am not home. (and haven't got blumants just yet) Roots were nicely all around the old pots and I would wanted to move them to larger pots anyway in only few weeks.

As I closed the door all girls looked clean and happy and waiting to get some sun.

- and for Browser's question, I have planned to get them all (panama as well) done as they mature in autumn (oktober...). Planning to top them (several times if they get driving, bend them, tie them, etc...) and make it up as I go along. Will keep them on N side as well for long time.
They don't need to be midgets, but I don't want trees on either. Bushes would be best. :)

- and neem oil it is as I get my arse back to home. Earlier I was just so broke I couldn't buy anything, not even neem oil or pyrethrum. That's why I turned to kitchen recipes.

Cheers for all for your comments, I will have new data on ladies on 10th.

Feels good to be back...

Feels good to be back...

Oh what a great feeling it is to come back to home. Ladies have survived nicely from my absence and only my herbal buenas (peppermint) had been munchied away by some caterpillar, which now is resting in peace.

Ladies now fed & inspected and all seems to be fine considering I was away. Apoligies because of technical problems pictures will have to wait before I get them here.

Only one whitefly was flying from other SantaMaria (paradise seeds) and they are in a different place from THE ladies so no harm done to them. Gave those 2 SM garlic bath and trustfully feel that, in only few weeks I will be smoking those, little ladies.

Got refund from my broadband producer (which didn't even got to provide for me...) and now back to square one, opening the internet at my home. If only some day...

Take care everyone and each other,

And now some pictures...

These ladies have been now in BioBizz light mix in 4l pots for an 24 days. Canna BioRhizatonic (every watering) and small amounts of atami org. grow-c (once week).

Today bought neem oil, hoping to keep them mostly clean from destroyers. Tomorrow I will bath them in it, before going to beach... and to watch THE football GAME...

Anyway first in pictures will be Panama 1 & 2...

Second will follow Caribe...

El Niño...

and last BigBang. (all girls are topped once, except bb which has been topped twice)

New phoneline & broadband ordered and still waiting to get this whole new internet experiance, at home...

Enjoy your weekend!

Hey Sammakko,

They sure look nice, and some bud sites are starting to show already :jump: I tried growing Panama from CNG some years back, lovely sativa plant, but she just took too long at my latitude, tho I understand that there're other (earlier) phenos.

This is her inside, fighting the cold:

I bet you where happy when you came back home and they where still looing happy :smoke:

Only suggestion I would have would be to use white pots instead, they won't get as hot as the black ones, and the roots will grow better.
