Amsterdam Will Ban Tourists from Pot Coffee Shops

The Dutch government today announced that by the end of the year, the country's famed marijuana-dispensing coffee shops would start to close to tourists and be open only to Dutch citizens.

I saw this coming months ago...first the closure of 100;s of coffeshops then the gov't tightned the laws now they have banned tourists guess what...THEY DON"T WANT TO BE KNOWN AS POT PUSHERS....so all you Americans that blew thousands of dollars and basically kept Amsterdam a float for so long..well its over....go to Cali now

I remember living in California back in 70's wishing I lived in Holland. Now I am in the pot capital of the world, the one thing I like about Cali. Growing my own, not worrying about the narcs.

I will not be surprised to see the dispensaries get hit much harder and maybe just closed. As long as I can grow my own, I do not care much. The dispensary thing was never meant to be a big business like it is. Never would have gotten voted in.

Amsterdam is full of Art, Culture, Religion, Technology, ect.
Plus, Rotterdam is a trip. And everything in between is fun, too.
Yeah, when you spend your time in the Central (Centrum) district it is just Redlight...
Fun place to get out in and explore.

Besides if you want 'Redlight', check out Hamburg, DE. Don't miss 'Herenstrasse'.

P.S. What is to keep young Dutchy from hanging outside in the many small, dark alleys ready to sell you a bag. You can still smoke it on the street, no?
Then just frequent the bar for a beer instead of a Looza.
