Odd watering problem.

Hey guys I was wondering if something might be wrong with two of my plants that are two weeks into flower.

Their in 2 gallon buckets. The thing is I'm starting to only have to water/feed them about every 5 or 6 days. Is this normal?

Sounds like the plants are a bit small for the size of the pot. Don't worry they'll get bigger.

I just had my plants in 3 weeks flowering in 1 gallon pots with a water cycle that was 2-3 days apart. I repotted into 2 gallon pots because I was going away on a small trip. The first water cycle was 5 days and it's now down to 4 days after nearly two weeks.

did you used to water them more often before? or just wandering if that's ok?
sounds fine to me.

I think he means they have been in the 2 gal pots and watering frequency requirement is all of a sudden lower.

Like he watered every 3 days before, now 5 days all in the same size pot? Is that true?

If so, the plants probably found a reason not to transpire as much. Possibly humidity was higher, less ventilation somehow, less fans.

Or you possibly watered more than you realized last time.

More info and pics could tell a bit more to this story... I've grown some sativas that do weird shit like this.

once in awhile I have a similar problem, a pot that stays heavy, never seems to need much water, I give them plants some micro-nutrient foliar applications of mineral matrix (or whatever I've got) and just wait her out, her feet will dry out, then I'm real careful with her and just give her less water, some just need less, i don't know why, Good luck to you

Same here. I just use a wizard probe and only water when it reaches the correct dryness. I then try and give it about 10% water ratio when its ready.( 1/2 gallon water in 5 gallon pots).
I have one or two like that right now. They may be Sativas or Headband, not sure.
