Mom/Clone cab lighting question

Hi fellow ICMag users. I am modifying a cabinet for mothers and babies. The dimensions are 39.5"w, 17"d, 19"h. I am planning to use PL-L lighting.

My understanding is that clones don't need much light. Would it make sense to use the 2 of the 55w pl-l lamps (22.5" long) and put my cloner under the area with no direct light? Or would I be better served with 2 of the 96w lamp (35.5" long)?

I think if i went with the 96ers I'd have a hot cab and blinded clones but I would like to ask the more experienced.

I vote for the 2 x 55 watt to keep them babies and mums happy. I use a 24 watt PL-L for a veg box 6" x 17" x 14", my thing is to keep the base warm with a heat mat. Also I have only 5 rounds completed.

That's what my rookie mind (4 rounds) decided on. Lights should arrive next week. Thanks for the input.

Cool beans. What strains are you prepping? I do Sensi Star by D9 labs and some thunk by Sam the Skunkman in a small cab. Great fun, isn't it?

what are you doing for ventilation? I have a cab setup, and I used a light similar to this:

mine is a 3chamber cab, mums/clones/male

I have some PC fans to ventilate. Hoping thats enough to keep the cab cool. We'll see once the lights are installed.
