Hey Snook I used to fish for for you in the Mangroves and around the bridges! Snook were allways very tricky to catch! Snook to me was allways a ocean grown Walleye! I fished for Snapper and Reds mostly!! WELCOME TO THE FORUMS!!!!!!!
Many have lived here a long time and have never caught it or eaten it.

Used to love fishing for snook on the west coast of Florida. Mostly catch and release. A really beautiful fish, and it always brought a smile to my face to see one coming up onto the beach at the end of my line.
Also used to catch Redfish, Sea Trout, Black Grouper and lots more fish.

Agreed that it's one of the best eating fish. Most have never tasted it, because you can't purchase it at retail outlets.

Thank you Abja. There was a market that had , ??? , Queen Victoria Perch, on Thursdays. It was snook from Canada/Nova Scocia part of the world.. delicious, NO fish taste..
but no one bught it because it was called Perch, thy're out of business.
Baz, I've been on the east coast for 15 years.. Making friends
has been easy. I do not know about your part of Fla but LEO is 'always' looking for us here. Letting anyone know my activities is very hard but
a must. I do wish it was easier but making MMJ friends may have just become easier. Thanks for the link. Concider starting a thread, you'll be surprised how many floridians are here. And that is no fish story! HAHA!

I come across some every 2-3 years.. they dont give it up!
and I dont fish enough.. and there's season and something like: the fish must be over 26" and under 33" everthing else goes back.
