Alfalfa, not alfafa meal

I went to the feed store and asked for micro clover and he said he'd have to order it and then started talking about mulching (said I was growing a garden, not indoor weed plants ) and alfalfa came up. I bought a bale and then realized it isn't alfafa meal. Should I just mulch w/it and let it break down? can I use it in AACT?

Yes, use it, grind this and it's meal. It works great as mulch or as a compost ingredient. A little slower than the meal to break down, but it still has lots of good stuff..."scrappy

I've got some in a bucket of water and bubbling, it makes it softer so I can break it a mix it w/soil easier and I believe the tea it makes to be good too

Work it into your soil and all will be fine.

i mulch my veggie garden with alfalfa hay.

you can buy a cheap mortar and pestle and make a meal out of that also.

don't work it in deep, just rake it in a bit.

alfalfa hay is a great mulch.

i would just chop it up some and mulch with it, water in with some ACT. dont mix in the soil it can burn your plants.

or soak in water and make alfalfa tea
