Yeah i'm tight lipped about my set up, Only person that knows is the missus and the brother so i've got that area covered, just wanted to cover the other area's that i was told about with the police detection so now after all the input im fairly sure thats sorted aswell.

I'm of the same school of thought as rezfngrs and m99, keeping the whole fucking thing to yourself is THE most important thing as far as grow safety goes. Obviously when things hit a certain scale you need to really worry about heat/odor and other telltales like how you actually move the equipment in/install it without drawing unwanted attention. I've known of people doing full house grows for 2-3 years at the same location then moving on without hassle just by being smart about everything they did. Never been to a single one of these houses but I have been a grateful recipient of unwanted grow gear on several occasions in return for clones and seed. Neighbours notice the little things and once they add together points A-D and get suspicious a night of drunk dialling may well include crimestoppers as well as the embarrassing calls to ex girlfriends etc. Technology is getting better on both sides of the growing fence and the reason you spend is to see a result. High tech kit is expensive to use and maintain however and Police choppers are usually used after police have a tip regarding a house and have had a look themselves but need that liittle bit more to get a solid warrant that will give them 5AM door smashing authority. Large outdoor plots are the main target of the flying filth nowaydays but who knows what's around the corner.
