After deeper examination I may have exaggerated the melt properties but more of an incense burn. The high is good though and taste is very hashy and amazing smell. I contribute the slow burn rather than melt from either wet product(i put plates in freezer after shaking looking back I'm not sure why I did this). But anyways after taking out of freezer and scraping together it seemed to absorb condensation or perhaps it was from the condensation on the glass jar from the dry ice, something I had been worried would happen. Again though overall it was easy, it worked, and it was fun. I think it would be a good first step in trying to produce a high-potency +90% oil.

Refining Co2 Hash...maybe ?

Refining Co2 Hash...maybe ?

Seems like you could take the keif from the dry ice extraction and stir it in about 3 gallons of ice cold icy water for a minute and the vegetable mater would float to the top where you could scoop it out. Drain and dry and it should be quite a bit cleaner, maybe. But that would take the quick and easy out of it I reckon.

Using kief for the starting material with bubble bags would end in a really good product but I don't have bubble bags, extracting with an alcohol solution would result in an ultra pure product, multiple washes with whatever technique will give a cleaner product. I plan next run to do a 15 sec, 30 sec, 2 min, and 5 min runs. Nothing else will give me cleaner trich piles than getting different size screens.

Wow, that looks fantastic. You guys will probably think im mad, but i throw my trim away, mainly because i cant be bothered with all the water extraction crap, and didnt think a screen would be much good with leafs and shit, but that looks the dogs.

Can you just buy dry ice from a shop? Cant say ive ever seen it before. Do they sell it in regular supermarkets?

I can defo see myself saving every bit of trim now, and getting one of them bags if i can buy dry ice easily. Great vid man.

Try ice cream stores.

You might also check your yellow pages. Locally Airgas, Koldkist beverage, and Qumby Welding supply also advertise it in the yellow pages.

So if you want the 73 micron hash, you have to use a 110 mesh bag right?
Or else, all the 73 hash will be inside the bag!
