I voted good, because i think for the most part.Theirs no such thing as luck. You make your own luck ,their are always exceptions but....

No such things as luck??? I 100% disagree. This life is nothing but variables and chance. You can devote your life to mastering something only to have a plane crash through your bedroom window while you sleep. Luck is real and I'd rather be lucky than good any day.

I voted for good but that only tells half of the story.

I feel that what you focus and dwell on, you receive. I know people who are perpetually in a state of "why me" and they wonder why it is them that doesn't ever get any breaks. They dwell on it and even expect it. Often you'll hear them say such things as "I can't win for loosing", "I never catch a break", "my rotten luck", and the list goes on. Subsequently, they seem to always have some hurdle to jump or mountain to climb.

Other people you'll notice seem to skate through life attracting abundance, peace, love, etc. like a magnet. You'll hear them say such things as "damn, I'm good", "I'm a natural", "I was born to do this", "I was born ready" and the list goes on. These people know how to keep their chin up.

You can be good, lucky, have your cake and eat it too. It is up to you to monitor your emotions and thoughts. You alone are at your steering wheel. You can take your vessel where you want to, or where you don't want to. Either way, you are in control. Don't be afraid to pat yourself on the back from time to time. Don't be afraid to tell yourself you are damn good. Don't be afraid to tell yourself "I'm lucky". You deserve it!

Best of luck folks and be good! :D ;)

In the words of the buddha (Dhammapada vers1):

We are what we think.
All that we are arises with our thoughts.
With our thoughts we make the world.
Speak or act with an impure mind
And trouble will follow you
As the wheel follows the ox that draws the cart.
We are what we think.
All that we are arises with our thoughts.
With our thoughts we make the world.
Speak or act with a pure mind
And happiness will follow you
As your shadow, unshakable.

The opposite which is believing in luck, means that control/consequence of our actions is removed from ourselves.
i.e "I did my best, but then a comet fell on my head".

But of course it's your previous actions that led you to that point in time and space where you could be hit in the head with a comet - i.e your karma for previous actions. So figuring out what results your actions will have is the trick.

Just seems to me that positive people have all the luck, while negative nellys seem to allways have rotten luck.

i voted good. i am lucky once in a while, but never "win" anything. i am a winning player in tournament and cash game poker. but not "lucky enough" to be labeled as lucky.

if you are good, luck just sweetens the deal. people who suck at a particular thing only have one chance at success. "LUCK"
